Oh the thought of a holiday, I think we are going o get the ferry from Weymouth and do Sark and Alderney for a week in June.

I so want to go to Bingo very

Shiney - hope you feel better soon. I have succumbed to coughing again which is also not good.

MyCat - that is so kind of you. Well DD went to sleep on her own with me sitting on the sleepy cushion, She and I are off to see Joseph tomorrow which I am very excited about so we will buy a box for notes from the Sleepy Fairy (not the one already mentioned in threads)We have been recommended the gradual withdrawal method as well.

Oh and what did the dwarves do with all that money from the diamond mines. Surely they could have afforded a bigger house with a bedroom each and a housekeeper?

bellavita · 11/01/2010 21:01

Well if Vinny uses a mooncup, bring it on.... maybe I will have to try one

wastingaway · 11/01/2010 21:02

Evening all. I have been to Meadowhall to collect my Macbook. Yay!

Hello Trinity.

Lizzy, + Just forget you ever heard a thing.

Mitts, for you. What a cowbag.

Shiney, you can't be poorly again?!

Flamingo, I hope it settles down for you soon. Nothing worse than bad lady pains.

I had meatballs, potatoes and salad for tea. No snacks etc.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/01/2010 21:06

Oh a Macbook again very

Welcome Trinity.

FlamingoBingo · 11/01/2010 21:08

Right, Vinny, going to try your technique. Will start in the morning - I promise!

traceybath · 11/01/2010 21:09

Bella - we flew to NY and then took an internal flight to Savannah which I think was pretty short (less than 2 hours in a tiny plane).

We then stayed in New York for a couple of nights.

Have just got in contact with some lovely distant cousins and been invited to a wedding in 9 weeks. The cousin getting married is gorgeous so good incentive for me to lose that final bit of weight.

And as numbers are tight I'm going with my sister and no dc's - yeay! Will have to figure out how to express some milk and get bea to take a bottle but hey - where there's a will . . .

Also all this talk of hair lady bits has reminded me to make beautician's appointment for saturday. Now shall I do normal or brazilian?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/01/2010 21:10

Anyone else watcching Generation XXL, it is quite heartbreaking.

NormaSknockers · 11/01/2010 21:11

Mooncup Maybe in time I'll be able to bring myself to find out more about it....maybe.

Did any of you see that 1200 cal-a-day for 2 weeks diet on that C4 programme? My friend was telling me about it but I'm not sure about it. Surely after the 2 weeks & going back to normal diet would make you put it all back on?

bellavita · 11/01/2010 21:12

Sorry for all the questions Tracey... but did the travel agent arrange the flights for you or did you do it yourself?

We have a timeshare and within our home resorts there is a place at Hilton Head we could go to. If you went in the summer would it be warm?

jetcatisfrozen · 11/01/2010 21:14

i have often wondered about a mooncup - but as i cant even cope with a tampon, i guess ive got no chance

bingo is one of my goals - the last time i went i acutally won, but was too embarrassed to shout i lost £50

but, today is a good day I have my new laptop (i cant believe i have been waiting since early December, and it took one kick ass strongly worded phone call from someone else to sort it

But, the best news of all - i have just found most of my stuff from the old laptop!!!! It is well hidden, and will take some reorganising, but at least its there. Photos of mini's christening, walks in the park etc - all there I had tears in my eyes when i found them, and junior just looked at me like

bellavita · 11/01/2010 21:15

Fanny - DH is watching Hustle and recording something else, so I haven't go a cat in hells chance of watching something - unless I go in the kitchen.

Have you had a braziliian before Tracey?

That's good news jet about the laptop - not so good about the £50 though

Bella - try Skyscanner

or

Kayak

for flights. They check every possible price with every possible airline for wherever you wanna go. Have found them handy in the past.

Right am off to bed, DH is calling for hanky panky am reading a great book just now and it's calling me. G'night ladies

VinegarTits · 11/01/2010 21:18

i'm an old hippy at heart Bella, i hate the though of the world being clogged up with my used sanitary products

And i recycle almost everything, my recycle bin is overflowing atm (not been collected because of snow) so have been putting things in my front porch, it now looks like a dump, my normal bin is empty

Me too, vinny. I hated last month's cycle. I have washable pads, which just get chucked in with the nappies, but even they weren't coping with my flood .

Maybe this month won't be as bad as I'm expecting...

traceybath · 11/01/2010 21:20

Bella - ex's business did all the flights as it was a work trip for him and I just tagged along. I'd imagine Hilton Head would be pretty warm in the summer - we went in October and went in the sea then.

Have had brazilian before - think I'll go for a very thorough normal wax. Brazilians make me laugh as just so hilarious in terms of positions you have to get into.

bellavita · 11/01/2010 21:21

DH recycles stuff - we have a wormery and a two compost bins. Take all our cardboard to the dump along with all our jars and bottles.

Thanks for that Tracey.

I start with sweaty palms and nervousness even before I get on the bed just for a normal wax - have had brazillians in the past but boy does it hurt (I am a wuss).

NormaSknockers · 11/01/2010 21:25

Saz - I'm not sure what my usualy cal intake is as I follow WW so go by points but I'm sure it must be more then 1200. I thought as much about the weight gain afterwards.
