You minx you Chaos

Morning...

Just trying to wake up.

Yogga brekka and blueberries this morning. The boys are having toast and chocolate spread - yum

Sandwich for lunch and chilli and rice for tea.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 12/01/2010 07:27

Good Morning all.

DD slept great until 3 and then was awake twice since then and has been up since 5.40.

Off to go see Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat today so that should keep me awake and I am going to go to bed for a couple of hours this morning.

Lizzylou · 12/01/2010 07:38

MOrning all, had to step away from the laptop as DH is getting a bit jealous of me spending all my time tap tap tapping away

DS2 woke me at 5.20am, didn't get back to sleep. I walked up the hill to get the car, it's still a little walk away but not so far for the boys, the snow seems to be defrosting, wahey!

I would love to go to Savannah, a friend went and I was drooling over her holiday pics.

I am going to play dumb with my friend, deffo. Thing is, date was fixed up last minute, so she may not have had time to "groom", I just wish I didn't know all the other stuff as well. I think to be honest he is just not over his ex-wife (who hurt him massively) at all. They are both such lovely people, such a shame it all went wrong once they hit the bedroom.

School run and then work.

Am already exhausted!

NormaSknockers · 12/01/2010 08:24

You naughty imp Chaos

Morning all, tea anyone?

Lizzy - I still keep giggling about your friend

Fanny I'm so jealous, hope you enjoy it! Who's in it at the mo?

FlamingoBingo · 12/01/2010 08:29

Morning girls.

Poledra - you know I get around that particular problem just by being totally honest with them. DD1 saw me having DD4 and DD1 and 2 saw me having DD3, and the've both seen me straight after the births, seen the lochia etc. my 3you doesn't really have a clue, but she's unphased by it simply because she's used to it IYSWIM. It's the older ones who have all the questions. I'm hoping they'll be totally unafraid when their periods start because of seeing me having mine.

Fanny - how exciting about Joseph! I would love to take our DDs to that!

TrillianAstra · 12/01/2010 08:36

Oh dear Lizzy, DP and his friends are all really upfront about sex, whereas my friends are more private. I really just don't want to know the details of what they get up to.

Poledra - it's the difference between hurt blood and healthy blood. If you cut yourself it's hurt blood, but periods are grownup ladies healthy blood, it shows that everything is working. Messy, but everyone has to wee and poo and that's messy too and it's not a bad thing, just something that you have to do.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 12/01/2010 08:40

PMSL Lizzie.

It is Craig at the moment in Joseph.

Poledra I am with FB, DD sees, hard for her not to but has not asked questions yet just sees it as normal.

FlamingoBingo · 12/01/2010 08:52

My DDs were so funny yesterday when they came in the bathroom while I was on the loo. They both looked delighted when they saw the blood on my pad and DD1 said 'Oh wow! You've got your period again!'. DD2 said 'one day we'll have pyramids, won't we DD1?'

NormaSknockers · 12/01/2010 09:06

Flamingo

I think being open & honest usually works, although always worth double checking what that actually mean as my little brother asked my dad where he came from so Dad went into the big birds & bees talk but DBro meant which city

TrinityIsFuckingTrying · 12/01/2010 09:07

I stuffed in four chocolate digestives and atwo fox's choco chip cookies

then I took s bite straight out aof a lump of danish blue

this happened last night

WHY
I'm a little scared that I may become obsessed about controllng my weight as I can't seem to control anything else in y life

FlamingoBingo · 12/01/2010 09:11

Trinity. Try not to analyse everything. Have you much weight to lose? Or are you just trying not to put any on?

How about stop thinking about weight and start thinking about eating and living healthily?

hellsbelles · 12/01/2010 09:11

Morning. I'm so impressed at how many of you use the mooncup. I thought it was an MN joke [blush - I must look into it now - I may have been converted.

Very of all this Savannah talk. I have been to the South years and years ago...but we went in the wrong season and it was so humid every time we went out it was like being slapped with a wet flannel. Plus I was a sulky teenager so didn't really appreciate quite how lovely it all was.

Jet - what lovely lovely news. So glad you got all that back.

Trills - I hope you are feeling back to your normal self this morning.

Fanny & Lizzy - our DC's must have conspired. We also had an extra person in our bed at 5.30am - cooing and trilling away. I am not happy.

TrinityIsFuckingTrying · 12/01/2010 09:15

I am looking at being healthier alot too

but that why thats not good either

do you know how much sat fat is in those biscuits
it's disgusting

not just about possible weight gain but who really needs to stuff that crap into their body for the sake of a small biscuit

NormaSknockers · 12/01/2010 09:17

Trinity, we all slip up, we all eat things we shouldn't, try & forget about last night what's done is done. It's about getting back on track so if you can get back on track this morning then it'll be ok

Poledra · 12/01/2010 09:18

Oh, I do try to be honest with the DDs - I was the very pregnant mum walking up our village high street in the summer of 2008 explaining to my then 4-yo that the baby cones out of mummy's vagina. The thing is, my parents weren't very open about sex and so on when we were children, so I'm trying to overcome some serious conditioning . And you know she'll ask me somewhere public, like when DD1 asked me (loudly) in a public loo why I had a furry bottom - the woman in the next cubicle got a good laugh.....

I'm quite liking hurt and healthy blood, Trills - you been reading parenting books

hellsbelles · 12/01/2010 09:19

Trinity - try not to worry - we'll be quick to shout at you if it sounds like you are getting obsessed or too hardcore on the diet side of things.

Norma is right - forget about last night and move on.

TrillianAstra · 12/01/2010 09:19

One of the mottoes of this thread Trinity - what's done is done. There's no 'oh I've ruined it now' here. If you just ate a lump of cheese, well, that's done, but you can start doing healthier things from 3..2..1..NOW.

Poledra · 12/01/2010 09:19

Trinity, that sounds like a normal night in my house (apart from the blue cheese - bleurgh!). It's done, it's over, start afresh today.

hellsbelles · 12/01/2010 09:21

blimey - you can tell we are all members of the same cult lots of x posts with teh same advice!

NormaSknockers · 12/01/2010 09:21

Poledra, that made me chuckle
