Are him and his little bro close? I love seeing DC's with their older brothers. They have lovely relationships.

jaquelinehyde · 22/12/2009 17:02

I have recieved a very odd parcel, and I haven't a clue who it is from. It contains a dora cd rom, and 32 small sheets of monkey and heart stickers. I'm just a little confused (although that is easily done).

I also had a card popped through to say I have 2 parcels to pick up from the po, so I think that will be the baubels and christmas lights arrived. I shall now have a proper Christmas tree in my front room, and not just a tree. I will confirm that it is definately them when I pick them up tomorrow.

at the ironing board mitts - i didnt even consider the possibility that things could transfer through onto clothes

vinny - fingers crossed he will be home soon!

right, change of plan now. Junior isnt fussed on the pink top, but likes the leggings. SO, she has found a lovely white top in her wardrobe which she hardly wears - it has brass detail on the front, so she thinks that makes it xmassy I can swap her top for this coat which she loves. I actually tried this on mini as well, and she looked lovely! would it look naff if they had matching coats

Mini's skirt will also have to be exchanged - she is so tiny!!! I thought size 3 would fit her, but it is almost down to her ankles! But, we have been trying things on in her wardrobe, and have a couple of options - both of which will need new shoes though - are NExt shoes reasonable for tots?

And sorry if i am boring you all to tears with this, buying clothes is easier when you have no money and have to get the cheapest

KissingUnderTheMittsletoe · 22/12/2009 17:21

Yeah, and it's a blokes ironing as well...oh joy

Jet, could you use the Next voucher to get DD1's boots and the money to get DD2's stuff from somewhere?..I have some next boots and they are lovely.

jinglejet · 22/12/2009 17:28

i did have a look Mitts, but they would take up all the gift card, and mini wouldnt get anything. I am still probably going for the £20 ones in asda, as they were lovely, and as it doesnt take junior very long to trash wear in a pair of shoes, i dont really want to spend a fortune. This is the girl who was actually sold two left feet boots in a shop and wore them for 3 months before we noticed

KissingUnderTheMittsletoe · 22/12/2009 17:32

One of the reasons I didn't sleep last night... DS is getting a phone for christmas, and I have charged it.

I kept hearing a weird noise in the night and getting up to trace it. 4 or 5 times in the night. I had forgotten about the phone but finally realised it was ringing, the network supplier was ringing me (why at between 2.30 and 4.00 am I am not sure).

jinglejet · 22/12/2009 17:33

oooh, sorry mitts, just re read your post properly! that was the point, to use it all on the boots

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 17:36

I like his style, making you all worried so you won't tell him off about his tattoo.

Am Cow racing on the Wii atm, you have to move a little, so should be exercise.

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 18:21

Off to find new thread.

BitOfFunderthemistletoe · 22/12/2009 18:46

Does he realize that that spells Twassock in Mandarin?

awastingamanger · 22/12/2009 18:58

Glad he's home safe Vinny. That's quite a big tattoo. At least he can pretend it says something else if they're not together in the future.
