Squeezy i dont know, i just know he was flying from Arrecife early hours this morning, i dont even know his flight number (didnt think to ask, im such a dope)

hes not replying to any texts, must have phone off

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 09:44

oh hang on, just had an update, it says the estimated arrival time in now 17.30, gosh he has had a long delay, just want him home safe now, have missed him

hellsbelles · 22/12/2009 09:45

Beautiful pics Shiney - Ted is such a cute little chap and what a lovely place you live in.

DH has just taken DS out and DD is nearly asleep so I have a few minutes peace - yippee.

DS is practically combusting with excitement over christmas. I love the way having children makes you excited about christmas again. I remember it lost all it's charm for me until I had DS.

We put christmas songs from spotify on (do you lot know about that? It's the most amazing way to play free music on your computer) and did more crafting stuff. Though I decided to do those baked orange slices that people use on garlands....not sure how I managed to but I burnt them to a crisp Luckily DS is the forgiving type. He just looked at me pityingly and said 'never mind Mummy - at least you tried'.

I'm resolved to do the South Beach diet on Jan the 2nd. I know it's not super healthy but it does work for me and I know I'll lose half a stone in 2 weeks if I do it properly. So for now am just enjoying eating nice stuff and not stressing. And by the end of Jan I will be joining the size 10 brigade

I'll stop rambling now.

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 09:45

there is only one flight coming in from Arrecife today, so i am assuming that is his

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 09:47

Aww hells your ds sounds like such a sweetie

i have never heard of spotfy, do you have a link?

hellsbelles · 22/12/2009 09:53

www.spotify.com/en/#top

Here Vinny. You don't need the premium. I'm going to ask DH about the invitation thingy they are talking about for the freebie version cause you didn't have to do that when we joined. He's back later so I'll post details when I have them.

SqueezinAroundTheXmasTree · 22/12/2009 09:57

Well hopefully that is his VT, and hopefully he will have had vouchers for some food from the airline due to being delayed for so long.

DH got out of the drive, the farmer brought 4 guys over and they pushed him out. He just called there and is now stuck at the bottom of a hill. His work have told him to take the day off.

Milan airport is closed this morning and my friend is supposed to be flying here on Thurs so am really worried as the forecast for Milan is heavy snow for the next 3 days. Am praying she gets here, have been looking forward to it and making loads of plans for ages.

FlamingoCrimbo · 22/12/2009 10:08

Vinny - I just can't imagine having one of my DDs another country! I hope they stop growing up soon.

Shiney - I loved your pics. Your DS is gorgeous!

I need to go and get a belt - just a bit too small (yippee) for my size 10s but no where near small enough for size 8s yet (ever?).

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 10:09

thanks hells, there is a waiting list for the free version, they are recommending you get the premium or have an invite

how does dh feel about a day off work squeezy? i know i would be happy about that but not everyone would

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 10:11

fb about your size 10's, i have never been a size 10, even when i was slim i was always a 12 because of my norkage

FlamingoCrimbo · 22/12/2009 10:18

Well I have ginormous boobs - slightly less ginormous now (32E) but I seem to fit in size 10 tops.

Talking about tits, that Widow woman is seriously getting on mine! She can't have very many friends if she writes off anyone who makes a naive and misunderstood comment.

But that the whole thing has turned into a BNP/DP bashing thread!

LizzyLordsALeaping · 22/12/2009 10:19

A Belt for your size 10s???? Yay Flam

Massive amounts of snow here, DH attempted to get boys into town for the bag pack thingy, couldn't get there.
Am cleaning and tidying and wondering if we will have any guests coming for Christmas Day!
Bit worried about my Mom driving all this way.

White Christmas's are not all they're cracked up to be!

jinglejet · 22/12/2009 10:31

3lbs[fsa]

I need to seriously get back to full motivation with this, so after xmas break, and reaffirming my faith with the good Lord, and tracking all food in and exercise done

very very on your size 10s Flamingo - well done for all your hard work!

beautiful pics shiney

vinny - hope he gets home ok. Friends husband is working away at the moment in Saudi - and is due to fly home tomorrow, fingers crossed he makes it

TinselianAstra · 22/12/2009 10:39

Is that 3 lbs down or 3lbs up Jet?

jinglejet · 22/12/2009 10:42

3lbs off, so at least its still a loss

TinselianAstra · 22/12/2009 10:46

You lost weight. This is good. Not as much as you'd like, but still a loss. Much much better than a gain. And I bet you've been eating healthier things than you used to as well.

hellsbelles · 22/12/2009 10:59

big cheer Jet - that's fab. Hopefully bella will be here soon to wave her pom poms. Flam - a belt is needed now for your size 10s?!

Vinny - my DB thinks this might work - definately not worth doing the premium version. You just have to put up with a few ads on the free version. Here's the link he suggested.
www.spotify.com/en/get-started/ ?? Not sure - he said it may be a 'back door' in. Sorry - I didn't realise it had all changed since we joined.

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 11:15

yay hells that worked, have just downloaded the free version, thankyou

SqueezinAroundTheXmasTree · 22/12/2009 11:18

DH just back. He is quite chuffed to have the day off but is hoping he will get in tomorrow as he feels a bit guilty too.

Jet!!! Well done!!! 3lb is 3lbs no matter how you look at it, more than a bag of sugar, fantastic

YanknChristmasCrackers · 22/12/2009 11:26

I am completely turning into a desperate housewife. Drooling over very hot postie who just dropped off a package for me....wearing shorts and short sleeves in the snow! And what a cheeky grin on him! He was wearing a first aider yellow vest thing, and as I shut the door I thought 'I should have fallen over or something....'

I think my long lost libido might be back! Happy Christmas!

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 11:32

pmsl yank, be prepared next time he knocks, practice the art of fainting

jinglejet · 22/12/2009 11:44

[fgin]yankn!!

been attempting to eat healthier trills - but i do admit i have been slipping lately AM not giving up now though - nurse didnt seem too worried, she just said when you look at the amount i have lost in total, it is def working!

I think once mini starts nursery after xmas, i am really going to have to step up on the exercise!

jinglejet · 22/12/2009 12:12

OMG - i just got my post, and have received a £50 gift card for Next!! I have thanked on the offical thread, but am so happy, i thought i would share here as well

Between your lovely kind wishes, cards and gifts, and this, this is our best xmas in a long while!

It was one year yesterday that we moved into this house, and we are still getting it put straight - although things did slide a little in the run up to xmas

Now, can anyone help me out with what to chose for mini and junior?

VinegarTinselTits · 22/12/2009 12:14

Aww jet thats lovely
