Welcome to what may be our 21st Healthy Eating thread!

We take it with varying levels of seriousness- in fact we are a pretty light-hearted bunch generally, but we do support each other, whether we are trying to lose a little (or a lot of) weight, or just get fitter.

Shiney is our Glorious Leader , ably backed up by the ass-kicking Sycamoretree and many other lovely regulars.

Come and join us- post as much as you can and join in the fun, nay, the phenomenon that is the Shiney thread

Ok, I retract the brassica comment (ouch)

I really am going to bed. After Peep Show.

I have successfully resisted more chocolate. This thread is magic. It's the Derren Brown of healthy eating threads (does this demonstrate I don't watch Mr Brown and have no idea what I'm talking about?)

I love brassicas!

Shiney - what is the word you're groping for? I veer between finding him weirdly repulsive and attractive, it's very disturbing.

I shouldn't be on here tonight, I have consummed a lot of risotto and wine this evening.

BitOfFun · 25/09/2009 22:21

You just imagine that anything from a Thorntons box is actually a chocolate-covered sprout. Works a treat.

I really am off to bed now.

I unreservedly apologise for introducing the thought of sprouts and cabbages to a Friday night thread.

You're all lovely. And indeed, glittery. Sniffs.

Best laid plans and all that, why do children get sick when you have a night out planned?
