Welcome to what may be our 21st Healthy Eating thread!

We take it with varying levels of seriousness- in fact we are a pretty light-hearted bunch generally, but we do support each other, whether we are trying to lose a little (or a lot of) weight, or just get fitter.

Shiney is our Glorious Leader , ably backed up by the ass-kicking Sycamoretree and many other lovely regulars.

Come and join us- post as much as you can and join in the fun, nay, the phenomenon that is the Shiney thread

Gosh! You all went to bed early last night!

I'm up with coldy, snotty, DD4 The poor thing can't sleep unless she's upright. I've got bruised feeling nipples from all the ensuing wriggly breastfeeds. I've got up so at least DH can get a bit more sleep before he has to get up for work.

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 26/09/2009 07:33

Morning all. Glad I am not the only one with sick children.

DS was sick last Saturday which meant cancelled babysitter and DH going to a party without me. We have 2 more nights out in October so I am going to run a book on which one will be ill those times.

jetonthedancefloor · 26/09/2009 07:36

Yeah I'm ok thanks, you? How's juniorjet now?

Salsavita · 26/09/2009 08:00

Morning all

Tis a lovely morning here.. Will have my usual yogha breakfast. I need to start being good, I put it off each day and that is not the right way to go >

Come back Norma

for you all with sick children. I took DS1 to the dr's on Wed and it turns out he has another ear infection (probably not cleared up from the last one in August) and he needed antibiotics as his chest was rattly too.

Got a fair bit to do today so catch you a bit later.

jetonthedancefloor · 26/09/2009 08:10

juniorjet is a fair bit better now thanks Norma. SHe is still taking Gaviscon after each meal, although she was sick on Thursday night Turns out she had pizza for school dinner (the only thing that was left as her year are last in this week) Am putting her on packed lunch now, though i know at primary school we couldnt change mid way through the term - so not sure if we can here either

First contact with her dad tomorrow, which she is extremely anxious about. She sent him a text earlier in the week saying she was looking forward to it - to break the ice a little - but he hasnt replied

DreamsInBinary · 26/09/2009 08:23

He sounds like an arsehole, Jet.

Morning all

NOOOOOOORRRRRMAAAAAAAAAAAA

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 26/09/2009 08:36

Jet - fingers crossed for tomorrow for your DD.

My worktop samples turned up this morning, 5 more weeks then the old is going and the new kitchen is going in.
