Gosh yes, Sazzles, I will

Is that what your MIL did? Berlimey, Oldie sex, yuk.

NB Oldie sex is anyone older than me that I do not fancy.

BitOfFun · 16/09/2009 21:43

This coat

This blouse

A beautiful green dress to set off her hair

And a final extravagance but still a bargain

Lizzylou · 16/09/2009 21:44

Have to say, if I was on top, my big fat dayglo white ass would be very visible from High flying aircraft.

FlamingoBingo · 16/09/2009 21:46

Oh Lizzy, you'll be fine! My Grandma has three boys and one daughter and is closest to the daughter's children. She's a real inspiration in her acceptance of whatever involvement her children let her have in her granchildren's lives she's grateful for but she doesn't expect any more than is offered IYSWIM. And is there to help as much as wanted but no more and no less. Do that and remember that when your DSs get married and have children, accept and be happy that they're father and wife first, and son second.

My MIL can't accept this and it causes all sorts of problems. She rings him all the time, and even when she can hear the girls clamouring for DH's help with something, and he's saying 'Mum, I've got to go', she just keeps whittering on.

My mum has sons too, and can't understand my MIL. My mum hear's from my brother once in a blue moon and says she'd think it was really wierd if he wanted to speak to her every day, or even every week. She can't imagine trying to be that much a part of his life - she would hate him to be trying to enjoy life but thinking 'oh dear, I'd better ring mum or she'll be in a strop with me'. Having said that, she's delighted when he does ring, and loves to see him. Same with me but she and I talk more as we have more in common.

Oh it's OK FB, my MIL is (now) pretty good, she can see that me and DH are happy and that we are a family, it did take her some time but have to say she is lovely. I have a good role model in that respect.

Lizzylou · 16/09/2009 21:51

Sazzles, no, that is tmi.
What does your DH think?
My newly single now dating mother has been seeking dating advice from me and actually had sex with someone. She confided in me, which was lovely, but I was a bit sick in my mouth tbh. Bleeeuurgh.

Iggi999 · 16/09/2009 21:54

Can't see the lovely purchases I'm afraid. I am so easily led - have just bid on two top thingys myself.

Lizzylou · 16/09/2009 21:56

No BOF, have been trying to click on your purchases and couldn't see them, thought it was my crappy pc.

Ah well, I didn't want to put the main listings of them up in case my ebay name shows up and you can see my kinky purchasing history

Sazles, NO, please don't leave.
I have one menopausal sex vixen in my life, I don't need yours as well.
Plus your exercise diary is inspiring.

Just popped into 'swearing mothers are us'.... incredible!!

DidEinsteinsMum · 16/09/2009 22:01

I crash and burnt my lesson - the only one to do so. But at least it wasnt with actual kids

Anyone need a tissue?
I hope that all who are feeling poorly soon feel more human soon.

The matter of exploding soup.... well lets just say the noxious fumes that developed whilst the thermos was forgot are best not described nor the condition of what was soup. always make sure you clean up said soup in thermos (especially when you make effort to make home made soup and jsut cant face eating it). It gets very *very ugly.

Nice to know everyone is still managing to make use of what sun we are having at mo. Personally cant wait until it gets colder. I am too hot at mo and really cant be wearing vest tops in a proper class.

Leek and potatoe. Interestingly enough i suspect that it might have been nicer if it had been cabbage soup - less likely to explode

I am taking lesson positives. I have learnt that I have a fluid style of teaching that hinges on reading the room and incorporating things on the fly. However as yet i dont have the basic teaching skills to keep it under control. Tomorrow i am going to ask which areas are most important to focus on to allow the fluidity of style i prefer but keep the discipline. Suspect I am going to have to get very unnatural to start off with. Hey ho. live learn move on.

PLease make new thread name obvious - i am heading to bed as that lovely warm fuzzy vodka feeling is lulling me into a state of sleep.

SycamoretreeIsVile · 16/09/2009 22:33
