Thought this was an unkillable thread but I seem to do a good job of it whenever I post! [sniffing off into corner]

Lizzylou · 16/09/2009 20:49

Iggi, really? Anal sex threads on Netmums?
You'd never get that here

Iggi999 · 16/09/2009 20:55

Hi Lizzy, glad you're there! I, of course, had never even heard of AS until my first venture into the sordid world of MN.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 16/09/2009 20:57

evening all, just had lovely supper of pork steaks and noodles with stir fried cabbage and chilli, steaks coated in honey and soy sauce.

2lbs tonight which I am really pleased with, so 6lbs in total.

Evening all! Am feeling a bit better now, and gritting my teeth for work tomorrow

Have just spent an enjoyable evening swooping in on gorgeous frocks and coats in the last 20 seconds on Ebay for dd2. I need to stop now though- I tend to get compulsive and over-competitive about this kind of thing

Iggi999 · 16/09/2009 21:13

You've given me ideas BOF, and I have just spent fortune on jojoetcridiculousname buying presents for other people's babies. Oh and one or two for DS, his winter wardrobe just wouldn't be complete without a pair of red cords. BUT when I'm shopping, I'm not eating, so it's all good!

IWantAChickAndADuck · 16/09/2009 21:15

Sazzles - it's a hard one to judge because he started nursery just this week and we missed his swimming lesson on Monday because the bloody bus didn't show up and obviously he's adjusting to nursery so won't be able to tell for a few weeks I guess!

Plus it may not happen now anyway... DP has got wind of the membership fee and is sulking becuase my maternity pay stops this month so he'd be paying for it

My god your all doing well on the good eating/exercising/loosing weight thing... I may have to slope of to a 'hopefully will loose some weight even though I eat cake and do no exercise' thread...

Poor Shiney . It is also scientifically proven that it's impossible to eat sensibly when you have a cold. Or in the days running up to the cold. Or for a week afterwards.

FlamingoBingo · 16/09/2009 21:19

We need a new thread.

Bella - well you don't often see flamingos in the park, do you?

Actually, it was a home ed picnic and the organiser invited the press and because I am coherent and articulate an exhibitionist, I was one of the mums who spoke to the reporters.

Sazzles - GC, SL and SN I think. GC tomorrow, SN or L next Wed.

BitOfFun · 16/09/2009 21:20

Oh I'm sorry

I did sneeze down the phone, so you are probably right.

FB, by the way, I read your thread, once you'd calmed down I think, then my computer crashed, but I think YANBU

Hope you feel better BOF and Shiney

Have had a rather productive day, sort of, kind of.

Sazzles, dd is still off school and sleeping most of the day and night. Might try a half-day back in school tomorrow for her, but it's been a week almost...maybe it is the flu of swine?

FlamingoBingo · 16/09/2009 21:25

Lizzylou Thanks.

Am a bit miffed now. I have been very selfless and told DH to invite the bumhead MIL over on DD's actual birthday on Tuesday, to try and smooth things over.

MIL cried over phone, apparently, and said she doesn't like the parties because she doesn't get to see DH and our DDs enough because there are other people there! Better than not seeing them at all, you would have thought .

Anyway, she does have rather an unhealthy obsession with DH and doesn't consider she's seen him properly if anyone else has been present ie. me or children .

She's bonkers, but I've earnt a lot of points with her inviting her over on Tuesday, even though DH isn't here to support me. I am going to set the computer up upstairs and pretend to do some housework up there every now and then and come on here for moral support .

Aww shiney - hope you feel better tomorow, have missed ya!

Hello to everyone else.

Am going to bed soon, I feel really tired.

Flamingo - well done you on the MIL front (I gave up on mine a long time ago).

BitOfFun · 16/09/2009 21:35

I am going to show off my ebay stuff- does this link work?

If it does, I shall bore you with the others too

Lizzylou · 16/09/2009 21:36

Bless you FB and Sazzles

As a Mom of two boys, can't wait to have a DIL to torture.

BOF one of my FB friends (old school friend) has just been diagnosed with "mild swine flu" so she says on her status. WTF is "Mild" swine flu??? Have you not either got it or not?

BitOfFun · 16/09/2009 21:38

If you survive, it was mild, I guess
