Eat fruit and vegetables - 10/10 thread BOOTCAMP, all welcome

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

How's things today Moll? I saw your thread late last night. I didn't realise how bad things are at the mo. I hope you are feeling better about it today, even though the situation hasn't changed I hope your spirits have lifted a bit.

I used to HATE going shoe shopping with my mum, but tbh I think the feeling was mutual.

SuperBunny · 27/08/2009 20:40

Rah... planned DS's bday party yesterday with my sister since it'll be at her house and she just announced that actually they'll be at a wedding that day. Everyone DS wants to invite is going to the wedding. So, that's nice. Grr

Oh Bunny I think I have a dragon cake.

SuperBunny · 27/08/2009 21:05

Ooo Pink, I am glad it arrived. Do you mean like this or jas.familyfun.go.com/recipefinder/display?id=50372If not, I might need your photocopy!

OP posts:
ThePinkOne · 27/08/2009 21:31

Not nearly as complicated or enormous as the first but I can't see the second.

embuggerance · 27/08/2009 21:35

dragon cakes

mollyroger · 27/08/2009 21:37

the choc one with smarties looks quite straightforward

mollyroger · 27/08/2009 21:38

sorry, no. 27

SuperBunny · 27/08/2009 21:50

Thanks Molly

this one, Pink

OP posts:
ThePinkOne · 27/08/2009 21:50

Mine is very straightforward. It's one round cake cut into six pieces which are rearranged flat on a board and iced with green buttericing with a scaley effect - just do it messy so not too fiddly. And fondant icing spikes and chocolate drop teeth and claws.

Mine is the best

SuperBunny · 27/08/2009 21:52

Some of those are amazing, Moll!

OP posts:
SuperBunny · 27/08/2009 21:53

Yes please to photocopy then Pink! Will email you my address. Thanks so much

OP posts:
ThePinkOne · 27/08/2009 21:54

That one does look quite cool and not too complicated! How many people are eating it? Does it need to be a big cake?

SuperBunny · 27/08/2009 21:57

No, doesn't need to be a big one. Can make cupcakes in addition to The Cake if need be.

TigerFeet · 27/08/2009 22:05

TooTtheHorribleFatLump · 27/08/2009 22:57

Wow, I have never done a dragon. Am tempted.

Hello everybody xx

sun-dried tomatoes
hummous
chocolate coated stem ginger (that's beans and root veg that is)

SuperBunny · 27/08/2009 23:03

TooT, you must drop the last part of your name. Well, the horrible fat bit. You could be TooTthefearsome, TooTthemighty, TooTtheLovely or anything else. Don't be so mean to yourself.

Chocolate covered stem ginger sounds delicious. I love ginger.

Tiger, you should come! But you will have a very tiny person by then
