For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I like to think that my return to the veg plot has helped to lower the tone! Nice work on the trampoline TF although won't it push the little blighter further up there?

MayorNaze · 15/09/2009 18:27

in all seriousness i may hav to bring you a marrow Toot as i need to get rid of them a lovely gift

SuperBunny · 15/09/2009 18:31

I will never be able to look at a marrow in the same light again. Nor a pineapple for that matter. You lot are filthy. If it's not pumpkin sex, it's marrow porn and shagging exotic fruit.

MayorNaze · 15/09/2009 18:41

see, the pumpkin sex never really happened on my allotment. i have these weird round green squash things instead...

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 15/09/2009 18:53

It is like the good old days in the pit, flicking nutshells and haribo at each other...is pink around?

I have done nothing more indecent with any sort of veg than steam and eat them.

Broccoli,
peppers,
onions,
blueberries,
raspberries,
banana x2,
juice,

loads of exercise,

Oh, OB, I flicked through your festival photos and lived vicariously through them...glad you had such a fabulous summer.

ABitWrong · 15/09/2009 19:07

Mits,you disappoint me

OsmosisBanana · 15/09/2009 19:25

Ha! Even vicariously spect you had a bad hangover afterwards Mits! Am i not the most ridiculous maggot to prowl the earth??

Mayor - we have weird green things too. I was hoping they might be acorn / blue squash but I'm pretty sure our garden shop doesn't sell anyfink quite so razzy.

I am working for FRANK water this w/e at the festy, this is a bit of a bummer as am 'working' (ha) but good as I shall have my own personal fridge and a stall right next to main stage and a chair to tie DD to.
