For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Toot! What are you up to, woman? Have skimmed, you don't want to be drinking that old cider, at least drink inappropriately with something good and fizzy like prosecco. Will email you soon. x

OOOH, I like this one. Molly, how long have you known about radio 6? I discvered it 2 days ago and with no stereo it is my saviour! Really good reggae, really good old stuff and new stuff like mercury nominees and the like.

TigerFeet · 13/09/2009 20:50

mobile carrot museum? [boggle]

I'm sure if I dig out my kitchen cupboards I could find some specimens for them

Guadalupe · 13/09/2009 20:51

ha ha at silent disco, I have never tried that.

I have stupidly challenged 19 year old builder to take me out raving. I told him I could outparty him any day. Have bought emergency clubbing top in case he calls my bluff. He won't though I am sure. 31 year old will cramp his style.

mollyroger · 13/09/2009 20:52

[preen] known about it for a couple of years - tried to get it on pc and failed.
Got digial radio for xmas and have been a total devotee ever since. LOVE Adam and Jo on a sat norning. Love to listen while I cook food (radio tends to be in kitchen.)

mollyroger · 13/09/2009 20:56

What is emeregncy raving top like?? [wistful]

Ooooh, get me, I am listening live while on my pc! But actually, I want to go and listen to the Listen Again option of the Orb's play list...

Guadalupe · 13/09/2009 20:56

Couple of years?? Blimey I thought it was a new thing.

I only normally listen to 4 when I want talking and 3 when I want classic. If I want music I put on cd or ipod. With no stereo (broken) and no ipod (lost) I was stuck listening to diabolical radio 1 where I likw one track out of 50 and I am (I hope) at least a decade away from radio 2.

Then, when seaching in desperation I find radio 6! It's like my cd collection on the radio and better.

ABitWrong · 13/09/2009 20:58

Guadalupe · 13/09/2009 20:59

I know! He remind me of what I was like when I was 19 I think that's it. DH is rolling around laughing at the thought of me trying to keep up with them. We will see. They are working on a roof near here and I shamelessly left the children on the pavement and climbed up the ladder and had a right old laugh on the roof with them the other day.

Then the new neighbours walked past. That didn't help.

mollyroger · 13/09/2009 21:00

YY! when I got my radio on the first hour of listening they played New Order, The Cure, Bowie, and The Smiths! I was in heaven
And it is the first time I have heard psychadealic furs on radio since 1985!

Apparently Solfest was grim grim weather this year and not v fun
