I think this is thread 10. We are an unruly bunch of MNetters trying to shed a lot a little or just some pounds through a variety of methods. Others just trying to eat healthily.

Newcomers most definitely welcome, just be advised the post rate is insane so be sure to check in regularly!

Our hostess Ms Diamond will be along soon I'm sure.

Well, i've been to the horses but i didn't ride because it was so hot and muggy up there i wanted to get done and home as soon as possible. DD has to come with me, she stays asleep in the car (i park in a huge open barn, so cool and shady) but today there was no breeze and the flies were horrid so no riding

The mucking out does mean that i can have chips or wine though. Hmm.........i'll have to think about that

Hello all, great weight loss shineon.
I'm feeling a tad sorry for myself today, was supposed to go to local meet up (where the excellent sazzles was going to be) and DD decided to be ill (OK now though, I think she overdosed on cake after some baking for DH birthday tomorrow). So spent afternoon feeling a bit lonely.

Feeling better now though.

On the up side - I stood on my scales this morning and they were below (the tiniest fraction of a sliver of a small thing) 14st! Sadly WW scales always put me at about 3lb heavier so still officially over 14st but I know in my heart that I'm not. And it means that I now weigh less than DH for the first time in yrs!

harleyd - I know just how you feel. Spent the day playing 3.9yr old DD games and feeding and playing with 5 1/2mth old DS. Earth mother I aint and I was so bored I thought my brains would dribble out of my ears.

Thank the good lord above that I am going out tomorrow night, otherwise I think I would just have to lay down and cry!

Evening all (where is everyone?)

Sazzles we had new windows put in last october and it made a hell of a difference over the winter. If only they were self cleaning.....

I think i may be getting this whole food focus thing wrong. This is the 3rd day where i have ended up having a ridiculous amount of cals left over. Yesterday was 717 today 600. It can't be right. I bet i don't lose any weight either.

I am 5ft3 (and a half) 10st3 set to lose 1lb a week on moderate lifestyle(or whatever) so i am allowed 1756 cals, but after i have put in my exercise i end up with about 500 or so extra. I don't put the childcare option of exercise in as i think that is incorporated into the lifestyle choice iyswim. I don't do any actual exercise, just my horses (mucking out, walking up the field etc) which i put in as 'Horse Grooming' 60mins (although it is nearer 90mins) So if anything i tend to round up the food and round down the exercise.

Heeelllooooo everyone not been on all day and just wanted to catch up before I nip off again.

Syc my eldedst (DD1) is starting school this year not bought anything yet as we may be moving to a new town, so a new school will be needed. Things may be a little bit panicky as the time gets closer.

I've been to view a property today in the town I want to be in, it was gorgeous. Loads of interest though (12 viewings today alone) so I don't hold out much hope We need to move ASAP so I can give my current home to soon to be ex DH as DP and I can't afford to cover the mortgage, can't get any help with it anymore, yet we can get help with rent whilst I'm studying. So it's goodbye home, hello renting a home for the rest of my life

Been good again today food wise, but I haven't done any exercise. I'm gyming it tomorrow though so it should be OK. No exercise Friday because I'm in court all day I'm a little scared. The last court date was local magistrates, this time it's crown court.

Right I'm off to eat my dinner (late I know) see you all later ladies.

Oh and shine well done on the weight loss although a 3 day weigh in is not a good idea once a week young lady.

MotherPi · 05/08/2009 21:52

Hi everyone.

I'm eating a solero after my risotto and watching House.

Have baked a lovely chocolate cake for DP's birthday, will put it in an airtight tin and ice it tomorrow.
