I think this is thread 10. We are an unruly bunch of MNetters trying to shed a lot a little or just some pounds through a variety of methods. Others just trying to eat healthily.

Newcomers most definitely welcome, just be advised the post rate is insane so be sure to check in regularly!

Our hostess Ms Diamond will be along soon I'm sure.

Hello new thread.

Hello Melmog. I'm new to this thread too. It's hard work keeping up!

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 02/08/2009 19:52

Marthasmama · 02/08/2009 20:20

Saz - DH hasn't been shopping yet, but he's going tomorrow. Thank you (I think) for reminding me! We have not been good this weekend due to ds's birthday but enough is enough!

DidEinsteinsMum · 02/08/2009 20:26

you know there is a least 6 more post available on the old thread. I dont suppose it is now full enough for us to defect here properally.

DS HAS BEEN A SAINT THIS WEEK (for him)
opps sorry for shouting but it is something that needs to be shouted about. He has been so well behaved that i gave him pocket money. He has been going to bed nicely, he has been well behave and when i thought he was up to mischief the other day i found him cleaning the bathroom. He has been reasonably polite and fairly good at following instrustions. I am sure we were still getting i would never let my child looks when we were out but for ds he has been amazing. it has been so nice to spend time with him and I have prefered to do so then find any excuse do something else. He has even done ok with nighttime potty training.

gravity of progress hits hard.

tummytickler · 02/08/2009 20:36

Hello
Can i join?
Ds is 2 in 2 weeks and i am still nearly 3 stone overweight!
I should be a size zero of course, as i walk evrywhere pushing a buggy (at least 4 miles!), but i think i eat more than enough to cover the exercise!
I have no plan, and i am following no programme - althoiugh i think i might as i probably need a kick up the backside.
Tonight we had canelloni with chard and ricotta, so a bit healthy (if i forget about the bag of chips i had on my way to Waitrose!)

DidEinsteinsMum · 02/08/2009 20:41

Hello tummytickler!

I believe the policy is the more the merrier, just be aware we occasionaly have a few mad moments. We follow various programs here or none at all. I am a none at all/LF (food focus) person. I only LF when I feel i have been good enough at mo and will admit to conviently forgetting stuff. Food focus is free and is good for giving you a picture of what you are doing and were you are going wrong but doesnt insist that you follow strict rules.

hi Einstein! I might have a look at that.
I am currently deciding whether to invest in some bathroom scales! I dont know whether they will motivate or depress!
