I think this is thread 10. We are an unruly bunch of MNetters trying to shed a lot a little or just some pounds through a variety of methods. Others just trying to eat healthily.

Newcomers most definitely welcome, just be advised the post rate is insane so be sure to check in regularly!

Our hostess Ms Diamond will be along soon I'm sure.

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 21:14

Shiney I have just looked at your friends (getting drunk curiosity) didnt recognise anyone and decided 1. I am boring 2. Did i skip the years i was supposed to be hell raising? Why do i look so prim and proper. And do i give that impression on here? You all look like such fun

Marthasmama · 03/08/2009 21:17

Don't worry DEM. I've just told my postnatal thread that I'd rather have a cup of tea than a glass of wine. I'm dead cool me.....

alicecrail · 03/08/2009 21:18

DEM, i have just realised you are not FB friends with me. Was it something i said?

jetcat32 · 03/08/2009 21:19

well how cool am i then - i dont drink tea or wine

jetcat32 · 03/08/2009 21:21

Jaq - i love your comment about posting your weight on here being liberating. I find the same - yet when we first started here we were both extremely nervous about posting our weight!!

How times change with the weight we lose....

Shiney - the only thing I ask of you is that it gets here before Saturday - otherwise it will end up at the post office for being too big to post through my letterbox - we go down to Gatwick on Saturday and we are not back till the eve of the 24th Aug.

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 21:35

umm i'm crap i think would be the only answer to that. I got a bit lost as to who was who, forgot about fb for a bit and then realised i actually had mail over there. (finaly checked email) Heading over now when i have finished looking at some wedding picts to put it right. Don't be overwhelmed or anything.

Marthasmama · 03/08/2009 21:41

Is anyone watching The Street tonight? Does anyone else recognise the main bloke's mate?

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 21:45

i couldnt watch had to turn off after only a few mins. but you have just reminded me there is something on iplayer i wanted to watch.

Marthasmama · 03/08/2009 21:48

Why did you have to turn off DEM? Last week's one was horrible at the beginning, this one hasn't been too bad. Not fun, but not too bad.

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 21:59

i wanted to throw something at the tv. Not a good viewing choice after my day. Am a bit sensitive and angry at mo.

Marthasmama · 03/08/2009 22:00

Ah ok DEM. He was an unpleasant chap wasn't he? I shall speak on more on the matter.

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 22:08

Marthasmama · 03/08/2009 22:08

Thanks for all the congratulations guys, it really helps

Leaning you have started back at Uni already we don't go in until October

Shine you will be pleased to hear I resisted any food related treats, although I did have a very large roast (chicken) with all the trimmings (3 roast pots, stuffing, and 2 yorkshires ) and then I snacked on approx 7 jelly sweets, and 7 pringles

A little bit naughtier than usual but nothing I can't work off swimming with the kids tomorrow, followed by aqua.

Jaquelinehyde · 03/08/2009 22:22

I'm also loving playing Dr Layton on the DS.

MotherPi · 03/08/2009 22:24

Big Cook! That's who he was.

I can go to bed at peace, now
