I think they wanted to give me morphine but I was pg so they couldn't . They were concerned I'd broken my ankle.

VinegarTits · 19/06/2009 20:59

Oh good god, just bashed my knee on the coffee table whilst switching the lamp on

Maybe i should just go to bed

flamingobingo · 19/06/2009 21:01

How many weeks, though, Sazzles? like two, or five? Three or four weeks should be enough IME (done it 3 times now!). And then just 'line' the bottom of her car seat with a terry on top of a plastic bag, and get a travel potty - and/or practise doing picnic wees without getting her knickers/trousers wet!

Nah - you'll be fine.

IME, you can only afford to go back in nappies after one day. If you keep going after one day, then you have to stick with it or you confuse them and it takes forever.

PHEW! Have finished my cupcake marathon.

Because I know you are all fascinated I have uploaded the fruits of my labour onto my profile page. There are more...but that's all that will fit in my snazzy cake carrier.

Now, you can't see in the photo but they are also covered in edible glitter

Do you think they have have enough sweets on them to make kids pester their parents in a really irritating way until they buy them?

How much do you reckon you would pay for one of these? They are quite big - muffin sized.

Haven't eaten dinner yet as have just been in the kitchen avoiding eating all the decorations

Not sure what to have now, tis getting late.

HumphreyCobbler · 19/06/2009 21:45

Thanks for the postive messages yesterday you guys

Have found out why I felt so shit - I have mastitis.

Funnily enough I felt much less miserable when I found out I actually had a valid reason to be miserable

Have skimmed though, this thread moves fast!

You are all doing so well. Think I might join FF just so I don't feel left out with the graphs and things.

not yet

the farmer up the road told my dh that he uses 'uddermint' on the cows when they get mastitis, I should send him out to borrow some

Have taken painkillers so feel better

HumphreyCobbler · 19/06/2009 21:52

funnily enough blue with white jazzies is quite a good description of my left breast

VinegarTits · 19/06/2009 21:52

for HC

Mastitis is awful, glad your feeling better for knowing what it is though, at least you can get it sorted now

Ow me foot...and me knee hurts too

DesperateHousewifeToo · 19/06/2009 21:52

{Hi Syc, that top blue one is for my mil }

As you were....

HumphreyCobbler · 19/06/2009 21:53

what did you stand on VT, was it lego? That can cause extreme pain ime.

Sycamoretreeisvile · 19/06/2009 21:53

Yes, it is torturous (apologies), so they are there for a limited period only as a monument to my iron will in not actually eating any of them myself, and also thwarting DH's sneaky hands as he tried to rob one every five mins.

I'm not sure on the ethics of re-selling bought cakes at the school fete - is that de rigeur these days then? I seem to remember a thread about that a week or so ago

What shall I eat? A tuna sandwich?

Sycamoretreeisvile · 19/06/2009 21:56

Desperate - do you want it laced with arsenic and old lace?

You can join this thread you know - we'd be most glad of your company!

See you tomorrow I hope.

VinegarTits · 19/06/2009 21:57

Ds2's toy laptop

i came down the stairs and narrowly avoided slipping on a book, i thought 'ah i could have fell on that'

Then stepped straight onto the toy laptop, fell face first into my dirty washing and lay on the floor in agony for ten mintues frightened to move incase it was broken

Ds2 was more concerned about the laptop

HumphreyCobbler · 19/06/2009 22:00

sounds painful VT

hope you feel better soon

I can recommend co-codamol
