Hi ladies.

Just time for a quick post whilst my first batch of cupcakes hopefully rise to perfection in the oven.

Had a half day today...got home and kids just when mental. I felt a bit sorry for myself. They are sometimes thrown a bit out of synch if I arrive home unexpectedly - and then they compete for my attention and it all ends in horrid whining, screaming crying competition.

Just tried to engage them in cupcake making but only succeeded in curdling the egg and butter and sugar mixture

Must make some costume for DD to wear in the music parade tomorrow so am cutting out two big circles and making some make-shift straps to hang them over her shoulders so she can be a drum. I will give her two wooden spoons for drumsticks.

I think I am trying to be super mum and driving myself into the ground whilst I'm at it.

Have eaten some cake mix and their left over pasta so must be calm tonight around food.

Shine - What are you like you bloody plonker?! Put a helmet on your DD you soft sod !

Hello all

Friday is my day with the children, which means I am either in soft play hell or running around like a loon. I really, REALLY don't know how SAHM's do it every day - I am shattered.

It also means that I eat more, as I can't pop out to get sushi and I tend to finish their food.

Lovely, though !

Sazzles - fab news about the weight loss, and I hope you are feeling OK about stopping bf. I was dreadfully upset both times in the weeks beforehand, but was absolutely fine just a few days after I'd stopped.

FBG - your house sounds wonderful. Lovely and warm with deliciousness wafting from the oven. Can we come round and eat cake? Please?!

Bella....there are..supplements in boots called 'waterfall' and similar but I have just checked out this site as well.

I can tell you a personal head injury story shine, which was as a result of not wearing a helmet, but i must confess I find it hard to always insist DS wears one, they are bloody awful.

wish I had time to catch up on posts but sooo busy...you are all FAB and inspirational though and gorgeous.

Hello to folk I don't know...(yet)

Sazzles - we have a dog, so had to take ds and dog out every day whether or not we were potty training - potty just slotted nicely in the bottom of the buggy!

VT - hows the foot?

Tonight - treat - take away curry (but no rice or bread) (and only veg curry and some daal) and some wine... BUt I think everyone is allowed a night off a week!

flamingobingo · 19/06/2009 20:54

mistle going for walk with dog not as much of a problem when potty training as going shopping or to a friend's house, though. Just take a potty and spare clothes sazzles - two lots

VT I did something similar when pg with DD3. We were visiting a children's centre opening day with my mum and DD1 and DD2 were traumatised by a giant bob the builder who was walking around the place

My foot was agony, but then it turned out my knee was the knackered thing after the foot had recovered. I had gas and air and went to hospital in an ambulance and everything!
