I bought a dress for the wedding (guest, I hasten to add) - currently its too tight, but I have great hopes that it won't be by the time of the wedding. It will require some new underwear purchase, which will probably cost more than the dress - but that's life isn't it (and I'm not going to get any underwear yet as I know that my size is changing significantly - the bra I'm wearing actually fits quite well at the moment!!!)

Syc - thanks for the events details - I can relax now knowing the extent of your forthcoming events*shiney - haven't read the AIBU on the bike helmet, so not sure if you agree to the kids wearing them or not, but we are going through a nightmare with DS1 (now 12) about him not wanting to wear one when he does his bmxing and generally riding round the village. I know it ain't cool for him... but I have had enough trips to the hospital with him with other injuries.

I, bellavita, need to get my act in gear and start writing everything down daily and should reduce my 18 point allowance to 16 to kickstart my fat arse and jelly belly into reducing. Otherwise, I will be a fat bloater in my bikini on holiday in August.

daftpunk · 19/06/2009 12:01

right ok...i'll have a look....(not paying much attention to active convos these days.)

bellavita · 19/06/2009 12:10

I didn't realise it was your AIBU shiney!

lol..you're not getting a hard time really...but yes, get her a helmet...

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 19/06/2009 12:19

I am living on home made muffins/bread. Can't be helping so will have salad when DS2 goes for his nap.

Had a day so feeling very tearful and fragile.

BalloonSlayer · 19/06/2009 12:21

Jogging with benefits - "Was it BalloonSlayer or FM?"

I can - with sadness - assure you it was not me. If it was, I would be rivalling Paula Radcliffe by now.

BalloonSlayer · 19/06/2009 12:23

Well done on your loss, Sazzles!

(just off to check out Shiney's AIBU thread)

bellavita · 19/06/2009 12:28

Balloon - lol, I thought it was either you or FM!!

Right, off to make sycamores leeky mushroomy creamy cheese thing on toast.

VinegarTits · 19/06/2009 12:34

Sorry your feeling today FBG

BitOfFun · 19/06/2009 12:38

Right, I had to have two more pieces of toast with tomato ketchup and cayenne pepper spread on them. It was that or pedigree chum, which would have been more Atkins-y, and I did contemplate it for about three seconds...

I think I am going to have to go to the supermarket today if I'm going to make this healthy eating thing work...what should I be buying?

VinegarTits · 19/06/2009 12:43

Lots of fresh fruit, veg, salad and lean meats bof

I need to do a shop today too, gah i hate food shopping
