I posted on JY's thread and saw the link to here. Am needing desperately to lose 4-5 stone, preferably within 6 months as I am 4 and want to TTC soonish. Have tried every blinkin' diet going but tend to fall off the wagon out of demotivation when my weight plateaus after a few weeks.

Am currently keeping calories to a bare minimum (for me) with Xenical and Slimfast and lots of fruit with a small evening meal - basically training myself to live on small low calorie meals. It seems to be working for now.

FordFocus is totally free, I wouldn't have paid for it (although now I love it so maybe I would). DP is doing it too.

yeah i have a doc appt at end of month, will be asking then
i have been cutting down on the water, am drinking about 5 pints just now, and am having the odd diet coke...and i dont feel as thirsty as when i was just drinking water

Am feeling quite giddy because TWO MORE people in work noticed I'd lost weight! (And no, I wasn't offended)

Also because I haven't eaten supper yet.

And have already started on the wine

I am beginning to understand why the group things like WW work. It's rather nice to have a common goal.

Have been finding friends and family trickier. Plenty of 'it won't hurt just this once' and 'but you look fine' (untrue). Odd.

A friend (bloke) at work asked me yesterday if I was losing weight!! Hurrah! First time. I was embarrassed but pleased.

Everyone seems to be doing well!

Not convinced about the new man, Shiney. I reckon you would have felt more of a spark by now if something was meant to be.

An OK-ish day for me:

no breakfast - got embroiled with work and before I knew it it was lunchtime
lunch - chicken with leftover courgette/aubergine bake from last night and half a sausage
dinner - mince and onions, mashed swede, peas and one yorkshire pudding (home-made)

An no wine!

a shot of vodka to me is red flag to a bull...the bottle would be gone and i would be karaoke-ing till the early morn!
