For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Surely shouting is exactly the time to leave the house for such activities, MW. I always seem to leave amidst noise.

I used to do kickboxing, in fact I did it for years. Then I dislocated dh's shoulder so I stopped.

Chocolate in pretty wrappers should be sublime.
I remember going to posh expensive shop in swanky place near here and buying oerpriced chocolate shapes for dcs only to find they tasted like slightly stale cooking chocolate

Guadalupe · 16/06/2009 22:02

well, it is pretty nice, but not spectacular in the way that the wrapper suggests. There is not much caramel flavour in the almond.

TooTicky · 16/06/2009 22:02

Guad, please prepare a sofa for me. I fancy a brewak.
Actually, dd1 would want to come too...she is extremely taken with your ds1 and dd and wishes to keep in touch.

Hello Franny and hello Pointy

There, I think I have caught up.

Melon
Piles of Salad
Sugar Snaps and Houmous
2 Apples
Skinny Cow Triple Chocolate Ice...what do you mean it doesn't count?!

It's fair to say I have not been focused for the last couple of days however Tesco have delivered this evening and I have cabbage, neaps, sweet potatoes, salads, pineapple, melon and sharon fruit plus the obligatory courgette and mushrooms to saute with garlic and mixed herbs...yum.

I don't do skirts atm, I too have fat legs and cankles plus I am noticing dark veins appearing across my shins. See the American Tan tights.

I got my bike out last night for the first time in ages and DS and I went around the reservoir. Must do it more often.

ILs and house sales, you have my sympathies.

mollyroger · 16/06/2009 22:10

I could murder some chocolate right now....

I have some dairy free sugar coated beans from graze box. They do not appeal.

pointydog · 16/06/2009 22:15

hello ticky

TooTicky · 16/06/2009 22:16

Hello Kelpie.

Molly, my younger two love those!!

Pointy how are you?

OP posts:
pointydog · 16/06/2009 22:18

I am well, ticky. Been to dd1's prize giving evening at school where they value sport above all else

TooTicky · 16/06/2009 22:21

Oh...does she enjoy sport?

That annoys me about primary school here. I mean, they recognise academic achievement, but the football stuff gets tedious.

Evening TooTicky and everyone.

What kind of beans are they mollyroger?

Is 'graze box' a brand or something you put together yourselves?

Guadalupe · 16/06/2009 22:39

I have a very good picture of them all up a tree, Toot. I will try to sort you out a copy. I'm sure mine would love to keep in touch too.

I am trying to find a picture of the pretty wrapper too.

Guadalupe · 16/06/2009 22:39

Graze is a company that sends you snacks, CKelpie. Very nice. Mine is coming tomorrow.

TooTicky · 16/06/2009 22:44

Ooh that would be fab Guad
I haven't even looked at my photos yet.

here if you click on enlarge image you can see better but it doesn't show all the birds.

CKelpie · 16/06/2009 22:48

Ah, I just googled it - looks really tasty.

Must go to bed now, I promised myself an early night and this is not early!

Night all.

TooTicky · 16/06/2009 22:52

Ooh that does look pretty.

Toot - that sounds fun - me & DS in LR's shed & you with the TooTlets in the playhouse. Then we'll go to FK's and try out her shed. Then guad's couches. We could do a 10/10 tour. I quite fancy Mit's eco-pod too. Sorry about the shouting and your knee

Pink, your BF sounds very important.

Guad, my sister is nr Bournemouth. Um, where we end up living is another bone of contention. Will deal with that when I get back I'm quite shocked about your enormous dildo.

I have another food label disappointment. I bought DS a pot of strawberry yoghurt as a treat then, when I dished it up I made the mistake of glancing at the label, which inculded: food starch, aspartame and... gelatin In yoghurt. WTF

Strawberries
Raspberries (2)
Tomatoes
Soy ice cream
Raisins
