For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

poor ds1
he is in bed and meant to be asleep but next door are all having a wild party on you guessed it the fecking trampoline
it's very audible from his room
i can't help him waking up at 5.30 am unfortunately

Poor dd2.
She got out of the car at Brownies ans screamed when she walked. I chivvied her along; she screamed again.
Took off her shoe and her foot was bleeding.
She said it was a needle
When I investigated there was a teeny piece of glass.
I dropped a bottle of chilli sauce last week in the utility room and htought I had cleared up all of the glass (by the shoe rack). Obviously not
So we cleaned up her foot.
She liked having to hop and told everyone

Then got home and she has a big splinter in her had too.

She went ot bed early, for her own safety I think

what else are you eating, pointy?

well bizarrely we've been offered a trampoline by a friend
but from the sound of it, it's pretty knackered and has no net, so i think that's a no
we also have tiny garden - it would take up all grass space
he was out there on it for about 40 mins today so he hasn't missed out
but next door will be up for another hour and i know he can hear them as he lies in bed
the summer evenings are a bit hard

Sorry! Didn't meant to tease yesterday

Surestart woman was pushy the whole time we were there. Fill the form in, come in the summer holidays, I'll just get you the timetable, have you had a chance to fill the form in (yeah, while doing messy play with toddler and baby ), here's the time-table (while I was trying to help dd up - she'd fallen over), oh, has mummy not got any spare pants (wet trousers from messy activities and yes I have got spares), oh lets take you to the toilet then (takes dd's hand).

All the while my (and my friend's) whole demeanour had been saying BACK OFF so when she went to take dd off to the toilet I snapped a little bit. SHE DOESN'T NEED CLEAN PANTS SHE HAS GOT WET TROUSERS FROM THE WATER AND I WILL CHANGE HER IN A MINUTE IN THE CAR

soya nuts (can I count them?), celery. carrots, beans (slow cooker sausage casserole - yum) banana, apricots, tomato soup, lettuce.

Having a using up week - I've only spent a fiver on food. The rest is in the cupboards and freezer but means that f&v is not as it might be!
