For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Where is your dh Pink?

I love the coast in this country, but only when it's cold.

TooTicky · 25/05/2009 21:53

Elvis...hmm....what are your best guesses?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 25/05/2009 21:57

Well my best guess would be dog, but I don't think I've seen you mention a dog before, and most owners talk about their dogs.

It can't be a cat because it's never too cold for cats. It's not really to cold for dog's either, but most dogs sleep inside now so it would be too cold for them.

pinkspottywellies · 25/05/2009 22:06

DH is at home. I'm at mum's in Devon.

Really going to bed now!

TooTicky · 25/05/2009 22:07

Elvis is somewhat smaller than a dog or cat.

Night night Pink xx

TooTicky · 25/05/2009 22:15

I do quite like woodlice.

Aphids I really struggle with.

I have never properly met an amoeba.

FrannyandZooey · 25/05/2009 22:16

something funny - i got spotted, on a sling forum - said "spotted - in the park, woman with baby in green sling and an older boy" and my friend saw it and emailed to say "have you got a new sling then?"
just seemed so unlikely, that someone would post it, then that someone that knew me would see it and guess it was me

I love my van today. We went to the sea-life centre in Hunstanton and had a picnic down a leafy lane on the way. The centre was surprisingly empty so we could see everything andf ds2 LOVED the penguins and holding starfish and then we had fish and chips on the hill outside (well I didn't I had a half a pt of shrimps) and then we stopped on the way back and had cups of tea in a field and then it poured with rain with thunderous skies for the last part of the way home and it clatters on the roof most satisfyingly. Very nice day. My mother came too and it was all very agreeable.
