For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

It's at the back, usually transparent, with two caps?

Hang on am going to google you handy tips.

www.automotix.net/articles/engine_mechanics/check_the_brake_fluid.html

There. oooh it says that brake fluid doesn't actually run out but needs changing. So you've got to go and see what colour it is? I think brake fluid is really toxic stuff, so don't get any on you.

Right, I've got to get these overalls off and go out for dinner.

littlerach · 25/04/2009 19:47

Ha, TooT, yes it is!

we even heard saw him at Longleat at Easter, walking around with all thechildren shouting it.
Then dds started chanting it.
Grr

How's the eyebrow?

Boco · 25/04/2009 19:47

100 you are so fab at googling Thank you, i'll read.

pinkspottywellies · 25/04/2009 19:48

I took DS into town this morning in the hug a bub.

Why oh why aren't wraps more popular??!! He slept for 2 and a half hours, I got everything done, I could use the stairs! It's as quick (if not quicker) to use then a buggy/pram. And the major thing for me is that if I go out with ds and dd I can put her in a rear facing buggy and talk to her. And everyone says it looks fab for having them so close.

So why don't mothercare stock them instead of those crappy bjorn type ones? And why doesn't everyone use them!!??

But I'm preaching to the converted on here aren't I!?

Sorry. Rant over

FrayedKnot · 25/04/2009 19:51

Hello

Oh dear Boco I hope 100 is right.

DH used to have a citroen, which have those weirdy brakes (not a citroen is it?), and he took it to the village garage to get something fixed and they totally cocked it up and the next day on his way to work it did actually burst into flames, so you were completely right to get out and leg it.

I have done more gardening and eaten a non-cunting mango

Pointy you must come to the meet up. It will be hilarious as no-one will be as you expect them at all.

Except Franny of course who is lying and does actually have long auburn curls and wears striped stockings, always, even in summer.

Avi I have £43.20 and a non-cunting mango.

FrannyandZooey · 25/04/2009 19:55

pink hurrah! it's a bit of a life changer, isn't it?

i bought ds1 a nice poncey relaxation cd to listen to in bed
he listened to 10 seconds and said "i don't like this. get it off"

OP posts:
pinkspottywellies · 25/04/2009 19:56

My mango was fibrous (sp?) [bleurgh]

Speaking of the meet up. What will you all be picnicing on? Are most people coming from home on the day and therefore bringing veggie delights from home whereas we'll be rolling up with a carrier bag of whatever M&S at the train station has to offer!! Never mind - dd will be so excited about going on a train!!

FrannyandZooey · 25/04/2009 19:57

pinkspottywellies · 25/04/2009 20:04

Lol at poncey CD! It's fab Franny. Thanks so much for the lend. I want a stripey colourful one. But they're already unusual enough round here without going for mad hippy colours too!! I showed DH's nan and auntie today. I think they quite like the idea but still think I'm a mad breastfeeding hippy Well if people already think it I guess I might as well get the stripey one

littlerach · 25/04/2009 20:13

Pink, dds are the same, the thought of a train is enough for them

FrannyandZooey · 25/04/2009 20:14

ah that is my one pink - the larae
it is really beautiful (imo)
i want a kristen as well, may treat myself this summer
if you are going from stretchy to woven there is a little bit of a learning curve imo
there is not the same give so it is much more supportive but at first can feel harder to tie

Yes we're sorted. We're having a long weekend a bit outside London. We've got quite a good deal with parking, breakfast and legoland included.

Tatties · 25/04/2009 20:19

Ooh Pink those wraps are gorgeous. I think you should get La Rae. Now that's making me feel broody!

Tatties · 25/04/2009 20:21

FrannyandZooey · 25/04/2009 20:24

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 25/04/2009 20:26

here
it's where i got that coat, do you remember?

OP posts:
pinkspottywellies · 25/04/2009 20:30

Yes I like the la rae. And the kirsten. And the christiane. Oh and just all of them!! I feel like I can justify one as I haven't bought a double buggy (got a hand me down from a friend) and I've tried a sling and love it. And I will be able to sell it on after. And I don't know who I'm justifying to cause DH would never complain and he earns the money!!
