For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

lol

Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 20:29

I did the same as Toot though.

Maybe I mean montage, I don't know about all of this technological stuff.

Ds1 is at the school disco. There were great wafts of aftershave comng downstairs before he left.

TooTicky · 20/03/2009 20:33

What the hell is a T. S. Eliot emoticon? Is it catlike? My brain isn't up to interleckshual stuff today.

Guad, montage will be good.

TooTicky · 20/03/2009 20:34

Actually, what did he do apart from the practical cats? God I am thick.

TooTicky · 20/03/2009 20:35

[went to school in south Bristol emoticon]

FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2009 20:36

he wrote a couple of other longish poems toot

oh okay

ahundredtimes · 20/03/2009 20:40

Oh sorry, was a stupid thing to put. He said something at some point, about not wanting himself to be analysed or questioned, just his work. Something like that. I can't even remember what he said, was something along those lines.

Ooh but he did write some good poems.

TooTicky · 20/03/2009 20:42

No, it wasn't stupid. But I am tired and uneducated and my head is full of fluff.
And I wouldn't dream of analysing you, you are far more interesting as an enigma.

Let's face it, none of us actually know what that emoticon means, not even me, and I employed it. I might save it and use it again at weird inappropriate moments. I might go and liberally spread my t.s. eliot emoticon all over the breast and bottle feeding threads and style & beauty and erm, primary education.

Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 20:44

Toot - you old possum.

TooTicky · 20/03/2009 20:45

Do it later 100x, don't run away just yet.

Guad

Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 20:45

100 - I'll give you a pound every time you do.

TooTicky · 20/03/2009 20:46

Our cat is anything but practical

ahundredtimes · 20/03/2009 21:04

I must go and herd my children to bed. What is the etiquette on working out who someone is on MN even if you don't really know them well in RL? Ignore or speak?

pinkspottywellies · 20/03/2009 21:18

Oh glorious, joyous bath products!! I've just realised why my Neals Yard candle smells familiar - I have crying chocolate flavoured candle, body lotion and shower gel!! (Was that intentional?)

100 I told my friend to come on MN and then recognised her on a post quite soon after! I told her I'd seen her and told her my name cause I thought it was a bit unfair that I knew her but she didn't know me. Think it's an individual thing though.

I'm off to have a seaweed and arnica bath

FrayedKnot · 20/03/2009 21:46

Hello

Cake done

Phew

Franny & TooT your children are scrumptious

10/10ers do make especially beautiful ones I think

Pink I used to go out every day with DS, even if just to go to the shops.

I can;t bear being in the house all day.

TooTicky · 20/03/2009 22:18

OH WOW FK, THAT IS SPLENDIFEROUS!!!
aND WHAT A GORGEOUS LITTLE CHAP HE IS [SMILE]

100x, I don't know. I think it really depends on the person/people involved [helpful]
I mean, I don't think I'd mind, as TooT, but would find it awkward in a namechanged guise, iyswim.

Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 22:21

Fk - terrific cake!

stuffitllama · 20/03/2009 22:28

ooh lovely sharing
the zoolets are superb, zooletlet has such a knowing little grin
what is a small faces haircut, i think the long curls are terrific
and Toot your children are so fab looking, and I love the way they sleep with such determined expressions

Toot your photos reminded me of our family albums from quite a lot of years ago, the grinning kids clambering and being blown about

FK It does look like a pirate chest. Most definitely. Have your children seen it? I think they will faint with happiness.

Pink I do wish I had been more like you when I was at your stage.

If everyone is going to be pierced and aggressive I can't do that. I will have to sit and watch. I can only do it everywhere else on mn. Oh like 100 being enigmatic with the breastfeeders and the pram huns.

I am just really delaying the moment when I have to say I haven't eaten any f & v since last post.

TooTicky · 20/03/2009 22:30

Ello Stuffit

stuffitllama · 20/03/2009 22:31

TooTicky · 20/03/2009 22:31

Dd2 has lots of questions for you and SB...

stuffitllama · 20/03/2009 22:32
