For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I have this vision of Avi Island with a church hall and one of those huge old fashioned projectors and a hand drawn poster saying ''Coming Soon! New feature! Brief Encounter'' and the 5 residents of Avi Island queueing before dawn for the Wondrous Magic Lantern Spectacle....

Evening.

Have I missed everything about 100x book? If I went through all the threads would I become wiser? Or is it a deep secret?

I took dd to see Moonacre, it was quite watchable in that Nanny Mcphee/ Five Children and It/Golden Compass kind of way. Actors a wee bit clipped and annoying but dd loved it. Don't forget your water if you get salt popcorn like me.

crapmumofteenager · 17/03/2009 03:24

crapmumofteenager · 17/03/2009 03:26

ahem I forgot myself

can anyone with a teenager help here? or anyone who's done a lot of moves? this person is a bit stuck

SuperBunny · 17/03/2009 03:32

Thanks

Might see if I can get to Dr for check-up. It's such a pain finding the time to go and we have to pay for each visit so I don't like to go until I have a long list of ailments.

I ate salad tonight. And juice. Two

My boy can ride a bike - a real bike with pedals. No stabilisers or anything. I am so excited!

stuffitllama · 17/03/2009 03:33

SB hi.. what's up? sorry I haven't read back

congrats to ds -- what a fab thing. A whole new world has opened up!

SuperBunny · 17/03/2009 03:50

Just needing a huge amount of sleep (like 12 hrs at night then 2 naps during the day) for no apparent reason and also lack of appetite (but constant cravings for cake and crisps). Am sure it is nothing.

I'm so proud of DS

stuffitllama · 17/03/2009 03:58

erm
you're not pregnant? has anyone asked this already?

SuperBunny · 17/03/2009 04:03

No absolutely definitely not. Deffo.

stuffitllama · 17/03/2009 04:21

I hope it's nothing horrible. It's hard when symptoms so vague.

happy birthday babyknot and congrats to 100 on everything going well

all that lonely slaving away -- so glad you got your reward! so... started the next one?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 17/03/2009 07:15

So sorry to hear about the child at work Bunny How awful.

I hope you feel better soon. Maybe request a blood test to see if there is anything going on? Or take an iron supplement for a while and see if it improves anything? Oh, and well done BunnyBoy! I remember mastering my bike for the first time. I rode it all day!

Belated Happy Birthday to FK's son

I forgot to list yesterday:

whole grapefruit (2)
apple
carrots
humous
coleslaw
banana
veg curry
mushrooms

Boco · 17/03/2009 09:43

Bunny hope you're ok - dont' you usually have terrible insomnia? Must be really odd to suddenly be sleeping lots.

We got sent fruit and vegetable portions sticker chart - you put stickers by your name for a week, and the winner is the one with the most. I like the tiny little kidney beans and the little mango best. I am driven by competition and stickers. We were bickering last night about who really ate an apple and who only pretended to eat an apple. It's free, you send off for it, if anyone else wants one. Pink?

littlerach · 17/03/2009 11:30

Where did you send off to Boco?
Dd1 would ove that, she is v competitive with dd2.

SB, hope you are ok.

No stbilisers is fab, he is only little, isn't he?

I can hear guns on Salisbury Plain. They are really quite loud today.

Am planting stuff as we speak. Peas are in and radishes.
Potatoes are next.
And soem flowers sedds I found in the tin.

Boco · 17/03/2009 12:04

If you do this questionnaire they send you an action plan, which is all a bit obvious, and LOADS of vegetable stickers and the chart

SuperBunny · 17/03/2009 13:19

Yes, I do have insomnia usually so this sudden need to sleep is most odd.

DS is 3.6, LR.

Off to look for veg stickers.

SuperBunny · 17/03/2009 13:23

And happy birthday to little FK

FrayedKnot · 17/03/2009 18:33

SB that is fantastic - DS just 5 and can't ride a bike without stabilizers yet - although that may be our fault for (a) providing him with a bike with stabilizers and (b) not taking them off

FrayedKnot · 17/03/2009 18:38

Where is everyone today?

Hopefully enjoying the weather?

I am trying to do teh questionnaire but it's not working.

Maybe we have overloaded the website in our enthusiasm
