For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

pinkspottywellies · 23/02/2009 11:46

Stuffit there isn't a photo on fb yet Must be one of me and dd but I'll put one of ds (argh! can't believe I've got a ds!) up soon. And he is scrummy and just like dd. Even down to exact same length and head circumference - spooky!

pollycazalet · 23/02/2009 15:58

Ah, sweet, dignified little name!

Am glad you're putting your feet up.

I went back to bed in a grump yesterday afternoon and read a WHOLE book. Prper cosy winter afternoon's reading.

mollyroger · 23/02/2009 16:43

lovely, lovely cute name!! been at work all day and nice to come to news from you in person, Pink! xx

TooTicky · 23/02/2009 17:13

it was supposed to be Fermango not Fernando [miseryguts]

FrayedKnot · 23/02/2009 17:29

at book reading

Is there a photo yet? is there?

Blueberries
Dried fruit
Apples
Kiwis
Veg curry for lunch

That must be at least 6 or 7 and no supper yet, which will be vegful as well. Hooray!

I really would like to lose a few pounds. Was it Guad who said she was going to WW?

Am trying to sort out this "playing out" business with DS. He disappeared to the neighbouring child's house without telling me and I had to go and fetch him. I feel rather stressed about it. I want him to have a certain amount of freedom but not too much too soon.

Guadalupe · 23/02/2009 18:46

Was me. I am going tomorrow. Have just stuffed greek salad with pittas and choc orange brownies and red wine in advance of it. Is like the bloody last supper.

I am going to lose two stone. Yes I am.

SuperBunny · 23/02/2009 18:47

Ooo, Pink, well done! I saw on FB but I didn't want to blab because I thought you'd want to say yourself. Cool name!

And Idris is here!

FrannyandZooey · 23/02/2009 18:50

FK we have strict rules about playing out - only allowed between THAT tree and THAT house

if you are going to go anywhere else, eg in someone's house, even for a minute, you have to come and ask me first

if i look out and can't see you IMMEDIATELY you will not be allowed to play out again until you are older

and do frequent spot checks at first to make sure rules are being kept to

FrannyandZooey · 23/02/2009 18:50

guad what will it be like? will it be like 100's dog obedience classes and you can come back and entertain us with anecdotes?

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 23/02/2009 18:51

There is freedom, playing out with friends, and then there is breaking the rules, going to friends house without telling you.

He might do it a bit more but should get the message. He can be free, as long as you know where he is, roughly. Limited freedom you see.

It is oaky because when he is older he will lie and tell you he is going to geoffrey's but really he is going to a quarry to swim in a dangerous deep green pool full of something lethal but he will be okay and you won't know anything about it. I survived.

FrannyandZooey · 23/02/2009 18:52

has pink still had a baby? isn't it exciting? i can't quite believe it
pink what are you doing? tell us everything
and what does he LOOK LIKE?
if i don't see pictures soon i will assume he IS a girl and you are just trying to cover up

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 23/02/2009 18:54

Yes, Franny, can I do anecdotes?I hope it is okay. I don't really know what happens there except they weigh you and say too fat and 27 points tomorrow or something.

Guadalupe · 23/02/2009 18:55

I don't think pink has had the baby really, she just wanted to get us off her back with asking. It was the born on the due date that did it. I don't know ANYONE who had their baby on their due date.

mollyroger · 23/02/2009 18:57

I've just eaten half a jug of cold custard...

How many WW points would that be?

mollyroger · 23/02/2009 18:57

er miss, me miss. I had ds2 on the due date miss.

TigerFeet · 23/02/2009 19:01
