For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I quite like some of the IKEA stuff that I see in other people's houses but the one time that I went there I found the place hellish and I haven't been back.

I have only eaten popcorn, fruit and a wedge of Norfolk dapple so far. We were in the cinema by 10am watching The Secret of Moonacre. DD enjoyed it.

Mango
passion
grapes
apple
pear

he hadn't been left before with people we didn't know and I was a bit about it..
well the pager went off virtually before we had left the creche and i SPRINTED back to see what terrible catastrophe had happened...

he had done a poo

and played happily there for an hour
and cried when he had to go

We need to go to Ikea, dd's room needs some new stuff as most of it will be needed for dc2 - we have a changing table that converts to a shelving unit so that will move out of there eventually. I heart Ikea very much indeed but it's farking MILES away from here. The nearest one is in Nottingham, about 70 miles I think. They built a distribution centre 35 miles away in Peterborough and we got ver ver excited but there is no store

Apricot jam
Strawberry yogurt

Struggling to eat today but have loads of energy. Forgot to take my pill last night which has made me feel rough today but I am not dozy and slow.

Vigorous cleaning of skankily embarassing bathroom - will that do for exercise? Been round the supermarket too.

FrannyandZooey · 08/02/2009 17:14

HAH pink
competitive, moi?

pinkspottywellies · 08/02/2009 17:26

TF you sound much better

List:
satsumas
1/2 banana
mango
raisins
apple juice
tomato
beans

Oh gosh! Better than I thought Will try to pack some more in later.

Very tired.

Thought my friend was having her baby today but seems was a false alarm. Well it could happen, but I don't think it is.

Guadalupe · 08/02/2009 18:03

Passion FRUIT you fools.

Franny - I have no idea whether the furniture in your house was from IKEA or not, I meant the times where people say, do you like my new IKEA table and I say yes, very nice. I cannot identify it! Your house and things were very nice though, light and airy.

I haven't done much exercise today, running tomorrow though.

Lullabyloo · 08/02/2009 18:52
