It Ain't Nece-celery So - 10 / 10 thread - with new ADDED FOCUS

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

How is everyone? Off to read the old thread...

TigerFeet · 07/02/2009 16:34

aww Molly, dd has been making snow angels at the park today. The snow had frozen so it was all crunchy. We went for hot chocolate afterwards. It was lovely.

Tatties · 07/02/2009 16:36

Oh bugger I tossed lilies at you on the old thread molly

Am feeling fruity and just making veg-packed dinner... will be curry-type thing with lentils and spinach and other stuff

mollyroger · 07/02/2009 16:37

and Tatties darling, I just gave you sage Men-Talking advice on the old thread

Am I allowed to be here if I have eaten nothing new in past 10 minutes?
I will be eating at least 10 portions tonight at party.

Tatties · 07/02/2009 16:40

Lol I replied on old thread

mollyroger · 07/02/2009 16:41

Sorry for birthday disappointments though.
I am still having an on-going sulk with dh about erecting my birthday present - from last MAY! It is a wooden trellis but too complicated to put up by myself....

TooTicky · 07/02/2009 17:01

I have to go and do things to washing in the garden. If I don't return, it is because I have frozen solid.

littlerach · 07/02/2009 17:03

Marking for later.

Guadalupe · 07/02/2009 17:14

I suppose I ought to eat yesterdays leftover curry. No-one else will.

Guadalupe · 07/02/2009 17:14

Not.
