For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:21

Tatties is wonderful

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:21

Hey yourself

Tatties · 27/01/2009 23:22

and FairLady

Yes I am rather bossy. I think I mainly suppress it on here though?

Tatties · 27/01/2009 23:22

My what a lot of smiles

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:23

I didn't know you were bossy.,..

Tatties · 27/01/2009 23:24

But I really think it is bedtime - how on earth did it get to be after 11 o'clock already?

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:24

They look like little bouncy balls don't they?

Tatties · 27/01/2009 23:24

Really TooT? I so am. Very bossy indeed

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:24

Is it really? I haven't stayed up late for a while.

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:25

As bossy as Franny?

FairLadyRantALot · 27/01/2009 23:28

hi tatties Bit of bossyness does not do any harm....indeed it's at times required, I am sure!

Anyways, you are right about bedtime though...I really should be off...the drugs are starting to work, so, I can breath, and my bone pains seem to have vanished...

is wondering if taking a neurofen after taking Lemsip wonderful disgusting all in one syrup a while back....
I mena it should be o.k.....now I know I should just read the instructions...

Tatties · 27/01/2009 23:29

You know, I don't actually mind the act of ironing. I think it is quite satisfying. But I just can't be arsed, getting the ironing board out, etc.. when presented as yet another household task, something that has to be done, well, I just can't be arsed. I'd rather be knitting

Tatties · 27/01/2009 23:30

Sleep well FairLady

FairLadyRantALot · 27/01/2009 23:30

I don't think anyone could possibly beat compete with Franny in the bossy department
[ducking down quickly, running as fast as she can....and just missing the nutpit]

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:31

depends what the active ingredient in the lemsip is

Tatties · 27/01/2009 23:32

My redbush has gone cold, I'm off to warm it up

FairLadyRantALot · 27/01/2009 23:33

phenylephrin
paracetamiol
gualfenesine
cetyllipriduym
chloride

well...not sure I wrote them all down correctly...my eyesight is failing me...
but it's paracetamol, so, therefore neurofen should be fine...

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:34

If I was one of the ruder veggers I would smirk but I need to rid myself of my most undeserved reputation for filth.

FairLadyRantALot · 27/01/2009 23:34

roflmao....and that is despite knowing that redbush is a tea

FairLadyRantALot · 27/01/2009 23:34

lol toot...

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:35

bloody hell Fairlady it sounds positively dangerous in its own right!

Tatties · 27/01/2009 23:35

I think it's paracetamol too... I wouldn't take the two together, but that's just me - I'd prefer to leave a couple of hour's gap between different painkillers

Tatties · 27/01/2009 23:37

Look you know I said that in the hope it would make someone smirk

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 23:38

I can't smirk,I must think of my reputation
