There's nothing swede about me - 10/10

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Hey, Toot...how's you?

TinyWhiteFeather · 27/01/2009 22:07

There is absolutely nothing swede about me....appearances can be very deceptive!

SuperBunny · 27/01/2009 22:07

I don't have mango or icecream, feather but that sounds delicious.

Eating eggshells - eggs are bad enough but with shells

TinyWhiteFeather · 27/01/2009 22:07

TinyWhiteFeather · 27/01/2009 22:08

big effusive {{{{{{{{{{HUGS}{}}}}}}}}}} for Feather and S|B

TinyWhiteFeather · 27/01/2009 22:11

The run really did me a lot of good. I might do it a lot. Nearly an hour of exciting, muddy/rocky downhill, hold onto your pants running.

FrayedKnot · 27/01/2009 22:12

TooT you are back. Sorry about DD2 and the bf and being ill and stuff. I remember a nightmare time when DS was smaller and I had decided to stop feeding him in the night, and then we had to go away and he was ill and I thought if I started again it would never stop and the dread I felt about going back to never getting any sleep was horrible, but then I knew I had to do it because nothing would settle him...

Luckily once he was better it seemed to sort itslef out quite quickly.

I hope she is better soon.

TinyWhiteFeather · 27/01/2009 22:13

Feathery hugs for Lully...

I am not really here for long..tired, but good tired.

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 22:14

Thank you FK. I so desperately need to stop.

Feather, that sounds good. Take it eaayt though or I shall come and sit on you.

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 22:16

Hey Feather, Lully sends you hugs back

TinyWhiteFeather · 27/01/2009 22:21

Well I simply must go and retire.

Warm hugs to all that need/want them......, and positive {{{{{{{{{{{vibes}}}}}}}}}} to those also that are in need of spirits lifting....

SuperBunny · 27/01/2009 22:24

FrannyandZooey · 27/01/2009 22:30

right it has been suggested here and there that i arrange a meet up
now before i start i want to clear something up
toot says for all my whinging about arranging them i might be pissed off if anyone else did it
well yes and no
i can't deny being a control freak so it might wig me out a bit, but that is my problem not yours
so anyone wanting to arrange a meet up PLEASE DO

but

if i am doing one let's talk dates
avi has said waiting till june is best for her
now i know that's a way off, but it might be good because
-pink will prob be a bit more sorted than she might be in say march
-the weather should be good and we can have it outside and save money if we want
-we can book trains and hotels and stuff and get cheap deals

however if people feel strongly it should be sooner please say

and are we serious about greenwich?

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 22:37

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 22:41

Franny, since you nearly phoned me I've bneen all disappointed and hoping you'll try again

but it would probably be too much of a nightmare fitting around my times

TooTicky · 27/01/2009 22:41
