For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

it amuses the two of us and tbh when you have got 2 young children you tend to get your laughs where you can

pinkspottywellies · 27/01/2009 19:39

I tend to look the other way tbh Franny when you're being very salacious about MrA

FrannyandZooey · 27/01/2009 19:40

i am only ever mildly salacious
and you jumped in first

Boco · 27/01/2009 19:40

I look the other way too, but then the other way is TWF, bouncing naked in the pit.

FrannyandZooey · 27/01/2009 19:41

FrannyandZooey · 27/01/2009 19:50

bastards

dp has gone out
could you all come and be amusing please

pinkspottywellies · 27/01/2009 19:55

Amusing?

TooT, I'm not practicing breathing but I think I'm supposed to be packing hospital bag and sorting out somewhere for the poor child to sleep when he arrives

SuperBunny · 27/01/2009 20:06

I thought Mr Avi was amusing you, Franny.

OsmosisBanana · 27/01/2009 20:08

Not sure if it's amusing but I got home only to have 2 enormous meat wagons blue lights flashing follow me home.

Turns out someone had reported me for driving erratically outside the City Academy 2ndry school.

No arguments from me, car parked on both sides of the road up on the pavements, people pulling out of junctions without looking etc etc millions of freakin' jeuvenile delinquents running amok.

I certainly was driving erractically, nearly as erratically as the people roaming the streets who may have been better displayed as exhibits in a zoo.

I got breathalysed and evryfink.

Amazing how guitly a bloke in rozzers uniform can make you feel.

Bah.

Back to the sanding / painting ming.

FairLadyRantALot · 27/01/2009 20:09

oh you made em lol...with all the nakked talk and stuff...

just thought of a naff title...well, remember I am shite at that....we are nuts about fruit and veg 10/10
what with that nut pit/nut talk...and this being a nuthouse

anyway, can anyone please explain the logic in the following:
dh brought a copy of his shift rota, so, I can see what he works and stuff....and then he takes it with him to fricking work with him...so, I am non the wiser right now, because my brain is mush and I can't remember if he is on a sleep in again or not, and he got the car...and I am feeling really fluish by now...and sob...I need drugs...sigh
anyway...so, why would he take the fecking thing to work with him?
Sigh!
Man...
Useless....
and all that!

Got Schindlers List on, but not sure I should be watching it....

Anyway, winging finished...

oh and pink, put the iron away....[stern look emoticon]

FairLadyRantALot · 27/01/2009 20:11

OMG Osmosis....Uniforms get me into a right state....( and no not in an aroused sort of way....before anyone gets ideas here...lol)

OsmosisBanana · 27/01/2009 20:19

After many years of having parties busted by the bastards when all we were doing was 'having it' in a field I'm afariad my usual reesponse is a bit more aggressive.

Especially when I think about how many times we've been buurgled recently and nowt has come of it.

GFrrrr.

WEhere's my council tax rebate?

Nah, I don't have an issue with the bastards really, you get some who are in the job for the right reasons, and some that are just thugs.

Rant over.

1 x avocado
1 x apple
lots of salad
onion
toms
chickpeas
[ineapple

at least 7. Not bad all things considered.

SuperBunny · 27/01/2009 20:19

Oh OB, sounds horrible. I think I'd have cried.

Fairlady... can you call/ email him? Silly to have taken it with him.

Boco · 27/01/2009 20:21

dd2 spent the day with a policeman today, but an off duty friend one. dd was jumping on his head when I arrived to pick her up, no respect for authority. She told him she had a job as a swimmer and was paid 24, and many other strange things.

The girls are upstairs singing loudly 'Mummy and Nigel Marvin sitting in a tree, K I S S I N G!' this makes no sense, as I have no interest in Nigel Marvin at all.

FairLadyRantALot · 27/01/2009 20:24

well, I had spoken on his voicemail and he has now called me back...he is coming home later and will go past teh 24h Asda...
but still...I mean...why take teh fecking thing wiht ya, lol!
