For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Bingo Boco!

Today:

banana
oj
carrots
cauliflower
homous
apple
baked beans

A bit of a poor show today with the 10/10, as the weather was so shite we didn't go out for a walk either. I need to get a waterproof coat, but I really do hate going out in the rain, it's such a faff when you get back indoors.

Enjoy your weekend Pink.

IME, they will look at the lump, feel it and the area it is in and then decide what, if anything, to do next. But do mention the cold fingers also. And perhaps anything else that is not quite right.

mollyroger · 23/01/2009 19:04

my only f&V today was the limp garnish from a finger buffet

Dh is doing thai green curry later. So that's er, 2 portions (baby sweetcorn and sugarsnaps...)

Will they do blood pressure?

TooTicky · 23/01/2009 19:12

It is a doc I don't know. Nice one left 2 years ago apparently.
Hope it's not the silly one who wouldn't believe I was pg without doing a test. 4th pg ffs, I knew the signs. I don't think she liked me.

littlerach · 23/01/2009 19:13

Might do blood pressure fo roverall health type thing.
Is that ok?

FrannyandZooey · 23/01/2009 19:14

right
guad get the boojas in
i am going for it
[hungry] [deprived]

avi it has worked its way down his body worsening en route
is all over tummy and chest
moving down arms from arm pits
back of neck
looks crap but not infected or weepy
he scratches, it is obviously bothering him now
great success with steroid cream at first to extent i thought it was all going to go
then it just spread around and so far the new bits have not responded to steroids
i have only applied half heartedly as is so much of it
i think the aveeno had no effect or bad effect
it is coming back on his face again, one sore spot is where i would say milk dribbles after a feed
and his chin also - where he dribbles when sucking cucumber etc

had a bad morning - spoke to herbalist in a shop and she was so unsupportive
this is all result of ds2 having antibiotics when 3 days old - she was shock horror appalled
"well in that case i am amazed it isn't much worse tbh"
i wanted to say "they thought he had meningitis you silly cow"
must have said something defensive - she said "don't get stressed, it'll pass through in your milk and make it WORSE"
