For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

SuperBunny · 22/01/2009 19:31

Yes, I think she was right! There is a slim chance it could be the international space station but I think it is Venus.

This title is a very popular one - we did good, Molly! Except that I am singing Bob Marley all the time.

mollyroger · 22/01/2009 19:33

me too. My DH is really irritated

mollyroger · 22/01/2009 19:34

SB, I have been cutting out cheese but pizza is the one exception!

I have really noticed less stomach problems, though that coud be other reasons, and laos less bloated/thinner stomach. Which is nice

It has been easier than I htought. I have had pizza once and was ok. I haven't made much pasta since, as I like cheese on that. And I don't think I could have lasagne without

FK I don't envy your difficult situation. I would be but not dare say anything in case I had totally the wrong end of the stick and they didn't fancy me at all and I sounded like an arrogant twat!!! (Not that that's what's happening in your case!)

mollyroger · 22/01/2009 19:50

I always notice when others get it wrong. but I know I am guilty of it myself..

littlerach · 22/01/2009 19:52

I notice in supermarkets but not me

There should be a rhyme to remember it!! Or is there

Fewer

FrannyandZooey · 22/01/2009 19:52

I like that one too, Avi, and there's one a bit
like it with tiny orange pieces in.

The boojas are quite creamy, almost milky tasting I think. I also have a raw one with goji and something in and that tastes quite creamy too.

Guadalupe · 22/01/2009 20:03

If you do have to try the two week thing, Franny, I will send you some of the new extraordinarily delicious raspberry boojas that you keep in the fridge.

[still not here emoticon]

FK - IGNORE IT. Definitely ignore it. Then if he says at some point 'Did you get my poem?' you can say 'Oh yes I did' in a rather abstracted way. Then if he's got the nerve he'll say 'what did you think?' and you can say, 'I wondered why you'd sent me a poem.'

Don't listen to these people with their sensitive notes and kind but gentle words. Ignore it, until he says 'did you get my poem.'

ahundredtimes · 22/01/2009 20:18

Am v. excited by house too Lupe. Do you have a clipboard? Do you have a hard hat? Do you have Ugg boots? Accessorizing this project manager lark will be fun I think. Not to mention the plans.

Oooh yes, vicarious building marvellous. We couldn't do it, we have NO VISION.

Right. Am off again now.

Guadalupe · 22/01/2009 20:20

Yes, lying would be bad. The lie would instantly change the raspberry filling to goat's hoof shavings.

Guadalupe · 22/01/2009 20:21

Lol, no clipboard, boots or hardhat. I am stuffed. What would Sarah Beeny say? There are no plans, budgets, timescales or organisation of any kind. I don't even have a folder.

ahundredtimes · 22/01/2009 20:23

The folder and the anorak are the BEST bit. Get accessorized immediately.

Guadalupe · 22/01/2009 20:23

I have my eye on a 17th Century map of the city in an antique shop in town though. It would look very nice in the hall. I am thinking duck egg, with a large mirror to check my hat.

ahundredtimes · 22/01/2009 20:24

Yes, like Mary Poppins, she always checked her hat didn't she. You are running ahead here, you are decorating. You can't do that - you must do budgets and sobbing in the rain first. [hugs self]
