For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I think I'm showing my ignorance here, but I have no idea what song the title is from Can anyone enlighten me?

TWF - excuse my language. But oh my fucking god, I can't believe it was pushed through your uterus. I am totally

Was someone earlier asking about contraception? I can't decide what to do either. I really really don't want to use any type of hormone contraception, so I think I'll be reading through my copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility again.

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 15:42

It's the Levellers, Lemur.

Stuffit, I'm still laughing that you though I was the goth. And more that she just agrees to be friends with random veggers!

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 15:43

I like my bloody clementine for valentines week too.

OP posts:
ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 16/01/2009 15:50

Ah, thanks SB. I only know one Levellers song, although its title seems to have escaped me at the mo. I think it's probably the really famous one. Not my sort of music.

When is your date SB? Is he lush?

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 15:55

Date is tomorrow night. But my friend has just ask me to for brunch on Sunday and to a concert or to go ice skating tomorrow and I don't know what to do. It's all confusing because he doesn't know I am seeing someone else and I don't want to lead anyone on.

OP posts:
SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 15:55

Lemur, what is your kind of music? Do you like The SMiths?

OP posts:
ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 16/01/2009 16:02

So when you say 'friend' do you mean friend/possible love interest? Have you got two blokes on the burner and seeing which one takes your fancy before leaping in and making a decision?

Hmm, not a fan of The Smiths tbh, although I love This Charming Man. I'm not sure I could describe my kind of music. I used to love R'n'B, but have fallen out of love with it over the past couple of years. I'm quite fickle and have lots of different types of music in my CD collection. I tend to listen to Radio 1 for most of the day. Infact I can't remember what the last CD I bought was, probably Mark Ronson or Amy Whinehouse.

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 16:09

NO, not 2 blokes on the burner. I don't know. I am have been seeing someone for the past few weekends but my 'friend' is asking me out often and I'm not sure what to do. I don't think I fancy him but we have a lot in common.

I am fickle with my music too and hate when people ask me what music I like.

hi all
my boys are watching dark knight with dh
I disapprove for my younger one
it is noisy, violent and frightening but four males were insistent and I have withdrawn

we will see

carrots 2
broccoli 2
cauli 2
all from the garden
banana 1
banana cake 4

god that film is loud
i am NOT getting up for the nightmares later

dooneygirl · 16/01/2009 16:55

Glad to see the banana cake is being consumed today. I was feeling sorry for it.

I am NOT going to make my quota today. I want fish and chips for dinner, and I'm going to eat lots of those.

I am in awe of your attractiveness with men, SB.

TooTicky · 16/01/2009 17:19

Franny, I did reply to your email yesterday or whenever it was but things are not working properly. How else can I give you the information? I could try my yahoo one but i've never actually used it. I assume it will work.

stuffitllama · 16/01/2009 17:21

why did you have to write that! now I really need some fish and chips

but do you eat them with mayo over there?

the banana cake is a tank.. we have hardly dented it
but it is very good for our brains

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 16/01/2009 17:23

We're having fish and chips for dinner tonight, but I'm going to make some mushy peas to go with it to help the veg count.

SB, are you confused about your friend?

Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight is worryingly good.

stuffitllama · 16/01/2009 17:24

hi Toot
sb I can't come up with any date ideas

ooh
tomorrow you can post "dates"!
a date anyway

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 16/01/2009 17:27

Oh and meant to say. TF - I found peppermint tea a saviour when I had ms. When I could face eating it was starchy carbs all the way

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 17:28

Oh the Dark Night is a bitscary, I think. But all filmed in Chicago. Fab scenery. Heath Ledger is very good.

Yes, I'm confused. Doesn't take much tbh.

Marking the thread.

dooneygirl · 16/01/2009 17:36

No, I eat them with lemon and malt vinegar, and a little, tiny bit of tartar sauce. And they have to be beer-battered.

TinyWhiteFeather · 16/01/2009 17:54

Chips and Mayo....mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hello SB...nattering with you is the best part of my insomnia, I must drink more coffee.

I'm OK, better with wobbly moments IYSWIM.

It is hard to be honest but maybe for your own sake you should be clear with the friend that you don't fancy, so he isn't mislead.
I hate it though. Think they will think I am egotistical for 'assuming' they like me, but hate hurting people... put that all in past tense as I am a married woman!!

I always find it a damn site harder letting them know that I did like them though as i am at my socially clunkiest and worst where that was concerned and never figured that they would like me back. Given that I can talk for all of England, I could completely lose the power of speech.

Hello LR,

Toot, have texted back...how was assembly?

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 18:05

Am glad you are better, feather.

Life is ciomplivcated. I can;t tyope anymore

And I mean trhe Dark Knight earlier, not night

OP posts:
TinyWhiteFeather · 16/01/2009 18:32

I struggled with that film, very good, but very dark and long. I much preferred the other films with Jack Nicholson etc.

The loss of Heath Ledger was very sad though.

Have you had a parcel from UK yet SB?

I am going for a run after I have put DD to bed.

I love typos, especially if they inadvertantly make something silly. I like silly.

I live next to a fish and chip shop and it tends to be off putting. Apart from the smell of curry sauce cooking.

Me me me me me..........

sorry that was a very narcisistic post lol

SuperBunny · 16/01/2009 18:34

The school I taught at was surrounded by the best chippies in the world. We could always smell them at playtime.

No parcel yet, feather - will let you know .
