For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I used to wear black eyeliner, henna my hair and smell of patchouli.

TooTicky · 04/12/2008 14:12

What did you do with the cheesecloth? [curious]

Yup, cheesecloth tops. Generally cheap. Usually not at all colour run resistant.

TigerFeet · 04/12/2008 14:23

Patchouli, tick

Beads and plaits in hair, tick

DM's all covered in painted flowers, tick

God I am so suburban these days, what the hell happened?

Hello lovely veggers! I have missed you!

Love the new thread title and also the Three pips - can we have that next!

at all social clunkiness, not easy to go through, but reading the thread, we all have it don't we?

I used to wear the same clothes all the time (bar being peeled off for wash) a check shirt, jeans, old cardy - what was I thinking? Cross between Canadian outback and M&S

Then had Dad's Clothes stage - old string vest over T-shirt and grandad shirts and cheesecloth.

My fingerless gloves were confiscated at school. I never got over the injustice

daisy99divine · 04/12/2008 14:34

F&V
Parsnip/ carrot/ celery/ sweet potato/ swede/ celery soup cooking right now [smug]

FMV hugs for your poor DS

TooT hugs for you and all family, I got to stage at end of BF DS when I just felt "chewed" and it does get a bit much doesn't it? Luckily he gave up relatively soon after....

Mou if you haven't already, go girl and Be an Artist...

oh franny, you know I do too. We have compared cheekboney boys/men (with floppy hair?) we adore before, I'm sure.

Actually I feel like a throwback to my teen days today. Am wearing leggings, swingy shorty dress and BFOBs and I was wearing a beret with a home made felty flower on.

Much as I love cod, there is a certain liberation in admitting this, knowing she can't see and pour scorn on me!

filthymindedvixen · 04/12/2008 17:20

I have had leek and potato soup, a clementine and 4 mince pies. That's a lot of currants!

filthymindedvixen · 04/12/2008 17:20

And just because I like talking to myself, I will tell you all I am off to Turksish Baths in a wee while

FrannyandZooey · 04/12/2008 18:04

oh yes because of COURSE cod is not here

Guadalupe · 04/12/2008 18:31

No, no, of course not.

Chicken, salad, sun blush tomatoes, avocado, lemon courgettes, broccoli and olives for dinner. Yum. I ordered my turkey today too.

I would like a drink. There is nothing to be had, well, nothing I want anyway. I expect there is some sherry and rum and an ancient greek honey liqueur somewhere but I don't fancy that on a Thursday evening.

franny i've always thought you had a weirdy ability to know who is who when they name change. It's like you have x-ray specs.

Can anyone tell me if hotmail is broken everywhere or just on my computer please? I need to do some work which involves printing out some pictures first but it won't work

FrannyandZooey · 04/12/2008 19:20

sometimes it does my head in boco
i can't myself work out why it is so obvious but sometimes i can 'hear' their 'voice' in my head
i miss a few though, a good friend of mine name changed for a long while and it took me ages to spot
