For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Yes, leftovers are the best bit. Turkey with crispy steaky bacon and lettuce and spicy chutneys in doughy bread. Yum.

Guadalupe · 09/12/2008 20:29

I was about to say why is he sad but of course you don't know. It's hard when you feel you can help isn't it.

4 months? Are you weaning him yet? Get him on some baby rice. Put a rusk in his bottle. He's hungry poor child. He can't survive on just milk. Give him some chocolate buttons

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 09/12/2008 20:56

lol at evil pink!

teething? earache?
Oh poor you!

pinkspottywellies · 09/12/2008 21:02

Is he about 4 months? Could be a growth spurt. Just keep feeding and feeding

pinkspottywellies · 09/12/2008 21:03

Right must go and iron. I'm turning the laptop off. Shout at me if I come back.

I had the veg and bean chilli in the end with loads of sour cream and a pepperami wrap.

TooTicky · 09/12/2008 21:22

So sorry to have missed 100x and Avi.

Smiles, a joke for you:

"Why did the banana go to the doctor?"

"Because he wasn;t peeling well"

Guad's doing that food description thing again. Guad you should write copy for TV chefs cookery books and make your fortune.

TooTicky · 09/12/2008 22:45

Glad he is okay Franny!!! Sorry, I glossed over you earlier. posting in a hurry.
Right, must get sleep before tomorrow...

SuperBunny · 10/12/2008 00:52

Poor DS2, Toot

SmilesLikeNoOther · 10/12/2008 01:50

Sometimes it is just nice to read the banter on here and if I do a post about it it will be like an essay...except

sorry about DS2 franny, my DS was like that and it wrenches at your heart, glad he was OK though.
DD used to suckle for up to 2 hrs...I think it was the longest I have ever sat still.

And LOL at joke FK......

I don't think I realised just how much pain I was in until the painkillers worked and it went away. As a result head is just whirring at normal speed (sigh). Think I might just stay on PK's until the spring and reassess the situation then. You are all lovely though.

Going to hike into town tomorrow and get ingredients for rum truffles and try and find some 'containers' for them as I am not sure I have time to make something as well.

TooTicky · 10/12/2008 07:16

Right, have hand fed breakfast to a sleepy ds2. We are all up early today - should do this more often really.

SmilesLikeNoOther · 10/12/2008 07:58

I love getting up early, I love the feel of the start of the day. Thinking of you today, it is your hospital day isn't it?

SmilesLikeNoOther · 10/12/2008 08:00

(not smile at hospital day) just a smile

FrannyandZooey · 10/12/2008 08:32
