For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Bbbee popped in a few days ago.

Guadalupe · 09/12/2008 20:09

Say you found it in the playground?

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 09/12/2008 20:10

Zippi found MN was not good for her menatl wellbeing right bnow. I am in touch withe her.
BBeee is on FB and bobs in to shout at us ocasionally! She is very busy.

pinkspottywellies · 09/12/2008 20:10

Franny always has cheese with cheese. She's not even veggie and the last time she had a lentil was 1978.

It's a boy 100x. At least I hope it is! I'm selling my girls stuff and painting a blue, space-rockets bedroom

Guad sorry about more delays

It's all go in here tonight isn't it!? And no-one's told me what to do about my fajita so I'm going to have to go and cook more chicken andopenthenachostofinishoffthesourcream

Well I hope FMV knows that I sound more head-on than I actually mean her to be. I think she will filter Anne in a good way - ie. be practical and optimistic and discuss it evenly and honestly, and try not to show anxiety.

DS1 will tell you I am too gloves-off though. I could do with some FMV sensitivity. In fact just tonight he said 'Mum, I don't think you should say 'your handwriting is absolutely awful, what are you doing?' I think you are meant to say 'could you find some ways to improve it do you think, even though it is really very good' It is not good for my confidence you know.'

I haven't made that up!! I promise.

He is on my case anyway.

pinkspottywellies · 09/12/2008 20:12

Is anyone in touch with Bero too? How is she?

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 09/12/2008 20:12

yes but Guad, ds is very honest and if anyone says where was it found, he will tell them...

ahundredtimes · 09/12/2008 20:13

To which I replied 'what's the point of saying it's really good when it isn't?'

We are having lots of conversations like this at present.

Hurrah to a boy. I love boys.

FMV - get The Unwritten Rules of Friendship. Is a good, I promise.

I have to go do bed time. Sorry if I was bossy and rude. I love you all.

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 09/12/2008 20:14

100 I have the book. I read it and agreed and stuff. Then realised ds fits into around 5 catatgories and realised I had to teach him, and I mean teach hime 50 rules. I got overwhelemed... and have lost it.

Guadalupe · 09/12/2008 20:15

Hmm, Fmv, that is tricky.

tell me I am being paranoid???

ahundredtimes · 09/12/2008 20:17

Oh yes, ds1 fitted loads of categories too. I suspect most do. Just find the book, and DO THE TEACH.

We found the saying names when saying hello very useful for some reason. Makes you put your head up high I suppose, and sound confident.

Have a challenge a week. Together. You know?

I have to go.xx

ahundredtimes · 09/12/2008 20:18

Guadalupe · 09/12/2008 20:18

You are being paranoid.

Just put it in lost property tomorrow. If it comes out say the truth, it will be fine.

Avi - I have done all the christmas shopping so there no row about that, thank goodness. There's plenty of other stuff keeping us occupied and bickering at the moment.

Guadalupe · 09/12/2008 20:19

Bye, 100X. Don't stay in there too long.

pinkspottywellies · 09/12/2008 20:20

avi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're here too

We had a discussion over Christmas presents. It's too complicated and boring to go into but he basically thought that me saying I didn't want anything was me trying to trick him into saying what he was going to get me I just don't need anything!!!!!!! And I don't want clothes cause I just keep getting fatter

Guadalupe · 09/12/2008 20:21

We have agreed not to buy mush this year. Well, I did buy myself a cd and a book from amazon and give it to dh to give to me. No point in him trawling town and paying more is there?

No mush. That's right, we are festive solids.

We eat a lot of buffet type food as well over christmas but we do have turkey on the day with all the usual trimmings. I might have goose next year. I have never eaten goose.

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 09/12/2008 20:24

I love goose but it is rubbish for leftovers, and boxing day just ain't boxing day without cold turkey and salad and bits
