For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

A date?? How exciting.

And snow

TooT, the reindeers just looked glum. May have been due to being in T!! And they were enclosed and I felt sad for them. even dd1 said they were very still and glum.

SmilesLikeNoOther · 06/12/2008 16:38

Well off to make soup. And try to find the floor before the boys return.

SuperBunny · 06/12/2008 16:46

Poor reindeer.

Homemade soup sounds good - I am meant to be doing that too. Must get up and do something productive.

SmilesLikeNoOther · 06/12/2008 16:50

Just in time, they are home and it looks as if i was doing something!!!!!!

TooTicky · 06/12/2008 18:33

Yes, I think a day out in T would make me glum. I hope they live somewhere nice.

TooTicky · 06/12/2008 18:34

Franny, are you still retyping??

TooTicky · 06/12/2008 18:35

SB, have a good date evening not wearing boots.

SuperBunny · 06/12/2008 18:50

Thanks Toot. It is still snowing so boots will definitely be on. Ugh.

T sounds rather miserable.

Do you lot give your babysitters a present for xmas? I think here you are meant to give a tip. I was going to make biscuits. Is that a bit rubbish?

TooTicky · 06/12/2008 19:03

T is just a bit soulless.

I don't have babysitters but personally think homemade biscuits excellent idea.

SmilesLikeNoOther · 06/12/2008 19:05

Biscuits are great, I am all for changing 'the done thing'.

TooTicky · 06/12/2008 19:08

Hello Smiles.

SmilesLikeNoOther · 06/12/2008 19:11

Hi, I am stealing my DS's time on the computer and he is looking over my shoulder impatiently so I think I should take the hint!!!!!!

Catch you later.

DS says 'Hi!'

TooTicky · 06/12/2008 19:14

Hi to Smiles-boy

SuperBunny · 06/12/2008 19:19

Hi smiles boy

SuperBunny · 06/12/2008 19:26

TooT, you have mail.

pinkspottywellies · 06/12/2008 19:45

TooT just scored 63 in Scrabble. In ONE WORD

I'm not playing any more

Spinach, corn on the cob, tomato sauce, 1/2 banana, beans, oj.

FrannyandZooey · 06/12/2008 19:51

oh f+v a bit poor

apple banana satsuma grapes raisins
coleslaw
err
thassit

i asked for red hair but they say i am too blonde and it would go pink
this did sound familiar actually, I think they say this most times
i did press them and apparently it would be possible but would be a Big Job
and i didn't have time
so i am now blonde and sort of coppery
it's quite nice

ds2 is such a darling
i mean just SUCH a darling
and ds1 managed to be very sweet - we were tidying his room and he found his old baby dollies and went to give them a bath
I could hear him saying" oh darling are you coming out now? let daddy dry you" etc etc etc

nobody wants to buy our car

anyone want a nice cheap motor??

OP posts:
SuperBunny · 06/12/2008 19:55

Yay for new hair, Franny. What lovely boys you have.

I need a nice cheap motor. But I think a transatlantic deal maybe deemed unnecessary

littlerach · 06/12/2008 20:00

blonde and coppery sounds nice.

Have eaten a large bar of chocolate covered marzipan. Feel a bit sick

FrannyandZooey · 06/12/2008 20:10

oh I forgot another thing I wanted to tell you all
we were in the library and a boy, about 8, came in and asked me where we had found the Roald Dahl book we were reading
I showed him, then carried on reading to ds1
I was still half watching the boy though, out of nosiness
he chose a Roald Dahl book, then v-e-r-y nonchalantly sauntered over to the 'Rainbow Fairies' section (you know, that ruddy series where there are about 40 new titles every week and somehow I don't think they are top literature)
grabbed about 10 of them
stuffed under his jacket
and ran for it!!
LOL!
he must be hooked on them but embarrassed as they are definitely 'girls' books
I really wanted to stop him and ask him about it but of course didn't

OP posts:
pinkspottywellies · 06/12/2008 20:12

Franny do you mean he ran out? You can't lol about children stealing or do you mean he ran off to read them in the library?

Hair sounds lovely.

SuperBunny · 06/12/2008 20:18

LOLOL @ hiding books. Poor boy.

FrannyandZooey · 06/12/2008 20:24

oh i mean he ran from the children's section before anyone spotted him
i presume he went to check them out in the proper fashion - you can do it on a computer so he wouldn't have to face a librarian going
but he was absolutely hiding them
i heart him

Thanks SB
I have sort of wittered back.

Franny, am jealous of nice new hair feeling. Mine desperately needs tidying and revamping but I HATE going and getting it done, It still hasn't grown out to where I actually wanted it last time

Bless library boy
