For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

Avi! Hello

FK, the beating was rather hard work. Constant stirring for 10 mins the beating for another 10. I think it should count toward my exercise.

SmilesLikeNoOther · 23/11/2008 20:54

Just been for a run. It was really peaceful, I didn't want to go at first but was so glad to get out there.

'fraid I am not thescarlet woman, , she sounds like fun tho'.

It seems to have been one of those weekends for lots of us.

I did see my Mum and Dad today which was very lovely. I had to ring my Mum yesterday when I was in Primark, Dad answered the phone and we got into a really silly conversation and I was Rofling in the middle of the shop, I nearly had to be escorted out .

DD is painfully excited about her birthday and can hardly contain herself. She had been a bit if a monkey, but gave me a lovely sorry hug at bed-time.

Sorry DH is away fmv, do you do something nice together when he gets back?

You looked lovely franny, in your profile. It is a hard time of year to look ones best.
I lost the weight I wanted and am now constantly cold .

Hope all is peaceful in the Toot household..the shouting thing is like having a blender in your brain.

Is it you that has just moved tatties.....? sure it will all settle down soon.

I am going to do some research for my website now . Goodnight all..xx

SuperBunny · 23/11/2008 21:42

Sound like a nice day overall, mou. I should go for a run but I know I won't. I can't remember how I got motivated before.

Has anyone heard from Zippi? I'm a bit worried about her.

TooTicky · 23/11/2008 22:06

SB, are you friends with her on FB? I am but haven't been in touch for a while.

SuperBunny · 23/11/2008 22:10

Yes and I posted something on there for her and I emailed. I don't want to bombard her with messages but I'd hoped someone had heard from her.

TooTicky · 23/11/2008 22:18

I hope she's okay.

SuperBunny · 23/11/2008 22:21

Me too

Are you baking Toot? You usually have something in the iven at this time of night on a Sunday.

TooTicky · 23/11/2008 22:27

No but I should be. There is no bread or cake but I can't do it tonight. There are veggie sausage rolls for lunches and they will just have to eat cereal in the morning. Not even an oatcake in the house

filthymindedvixen · 23/11/2008 23:30

I will contact Zips nd tell her of your concerns...

FK - me? scarlet harlot? What??? whrere?

OP posts:
SuperBunny · 23/11/2008 23:41

Mmmm, oatcakes.

TooTicky · 23/11/2008 23:43

SB, go to FB and read my status doodah...

SuperBunny · 23/11/2008 23:47

I looked toot but she doesn't appear anywhere. She'll have to add me!

You should go to bed, tis late.

TooTicky · 23/11/2008 23:50

But she is on my list of friends! [totally puzzled]
Bed, yeah yeah.

TooTicky · 23/11/2008 23:53

Okay, I have sent you a suggestion....

daisy99divine · 24/11/2008 00:27

Hello all - bit confused - more than one thread? should I be posting elsewhere?

Sorry, pink, I'm not scarlet

Toot, hope people have stopped shouting

FMV, wow you are brave!

at snow people, we had nothing - not even dusting. Just biting wind and bit of sleet that turned to ICY stair rods of rain

sat apple, banana, kiwi, broccoli, pak choi, sweetcorn, sugarsnap peas, carrot, onion, garlic, watercress

sun banana, raisin, kiwi, broccoli, carrot, leek, peas

Good for me

hope everyone is better, less shouting, more loving etc. This here yurt is quiet, but cosy!

did you get your coat Franny?

SuperBunny · 24/11/2008 04:30

No, post here Daisy!

She must be super secretive, Toot cos I can't see her anywhere. Are you hiding, FMF?

Someone is smoking weed. And it's not me. But it is all that I can smell.

SmilesLikeNoOther · 24/11/2008 06:59

Good morning! I slept!!....all night. Wow , and people get to do this every night. I can't imagine how much I would get done if I slept every night. They would have to plug me into the national grid.

So, have a great day to all...busy one for me and if I have time I am going to try to photograph the pictures I want on my website.

Bounces out of yurt to feed small hungry people.

FrannyandZooey · 24/11/2008 08:53

morning
thanks, i feel like i was fishing now there was a reason it was only a head shot though
i feel a bit better today though, gym helped I think

no coat yet, I made an offer and it has all gone quiet

ds2 wants to suck my hand and i am also eating breakfast so typing even harder than usual! have 2 extra children coming round
if we go to the park or something people stare, because they think they are all mine
must be mad having a really big family
the triplets lady had EIGHT altogether

SmilesLikeNoOther · 24/11/2008 09:00

Nothing wrong with fishing franny, we all need some reassurance from time to time...

DD used to suck my earlobe! Lol.

I admire anyone who can cope with lots of children (please excuse if that is th wrong word).

My friend happily deals with 8/9 and I break into a cold sweat just thinking of it.

filthymindedvixen · 24/11/2008 10:07

Mou, I usually find the more there are, the eaiser it is - in a peverse way. But That's only on an accasional basis.

Tatties - hope move is settling

SuperBunny · 24/11/2008 14:21

Mornin'

I do it every night mou - sadly I rely on melatonin which works wonders. I hate having to take it every day but if I don't it makes everyone miserable

I remember being on teaching practice and walking round Bridlington with 6 Year 5 kids and several people stopped me to say, "Are they all yours?" Even if I had children, at it is rather unlikely that a 22 yr old (and I looked very young) would have six 9 and 10 yr olds, isn't it? Daft buggers.

Hope everyone has a good day.
