For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

TooTicky · 08/11/2008 20:10

Where is everybody?

TooTicky · 08/11/2008 20:21

And is anybody in touch with Mou outside of MN?

FrayedKnot · 08/11/2008 20:22

Hello TooT

How was swimming?

I said I had a busy weekend!

Just got back from PTA fireworks at DS school - they were surprisingly good.

DS was so excited - I love that he gets really "into" things now.

Am having eyes tested tomorrow....up until now have not needed glasses, but wonder what they will say....I've noticed the phone list on my wall at work seems harder and harder to read lately

Hope everyone having a god weekend - Pink where are those castle pics?

FrayedKnot · 08/11/2008 20:23

Good, not god, obv.

I'm not, I'm afraid, TooT.

TooTicky · 08/11/2008 20:25

Swimming was okay thanks

Good luck with your eye test!
I'm finding my bedtime reading harder, but I do read in semi-darkness. Must find a light I approve of. I suspect it's a candle lantern.

pinkspottywellies · 08/11/2008 22:13

THE PHOTOS ARE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've done it and I'm so pleased!!!!!!!!!!!! I had an idea of what I wanted to do but I thought it would be rubbish and I'm not usually arty but I love it

I have eaten a bit of onion (in a hot dog) a bit of leek (in soup) and would love a glass of wine but I'm resisting and my SIL has just been asking me about when we were ttc and I gave her tmi and she's freaked!

Oh and I had a malteser ice-cream butI bet you mean ladies won't let me even count the cocoa beans
