can i add something to the poo chat?! i also smoked MLs and def. had a poo after the 1st one - i remember relying on it to do one before going to work!! like fg says, it does clear up after a while but if any of you are blocked up try Califig liquid as i hear it does the trick!

fg, i got mine from boots ages ago and then again from ebay same time as cc. what a bugger! first they get rid of the nice tiny ones then these!!! perhaps it's a good excuse to wean yourself off them?

right, gotta go down and record ER for dh as he went up to b'ham today and isn't back yet so see ya later! xx

I'm still fag-free, no major cravings. Still fat though! Back on weight watchers: I also post on the mumsnet mammas thread and the weight watchers thread at the moment. DD's birthday party coming up on saturday, hoping I can make it through it without having a toke on a cigarette!

Yeah the spots have gone down!!! BUT i can't stop eating - all that healthy eating last week has gone right out the window. Still no fags though. I get high on the smell of muffins baking now - I am such a house wife!!! And i must stop using exclamation marks!

Hope Minks climbed back o the fresh air wagon. Dp was 2 weeks yesterday not including a couple of stray puffs.
We are doing MARVELOUSSLY well. (excuse my spelling)
The first few threads, way back in september were full of Oh shit, just had one, feel so low, wish I hadnt...right gonna have to start again. This is MUCH jollier isnt it?

forgot to mention that i use Origins' spot gel and it is MAGIC. it's pricy at £11 for a tiny bottle but it will last you ages and works pretty much immediately!

i also have compulsive exclamation mark disorder fee! sometimes i think my posts read like i'm high all the time

played with ds1 in the snow today but he was disturbed by me throwing snowballs at dh and told us to 'stop it!' pah, children always spoil your fun...

thanks minkmama thankfully my spots have gone,even the tiny ones i've had for years around my cheeks!!! finally after 5 weeks i'm starting to see the difference!!!!honestly my skin has never looked better,is never going to be flawless but i'm very pleasedall that suffering is paying off

i used to have tiny bumps on my cheeks too and when i gave up the first time they gradually went away and even now i don't really have them, it's great to be able to see some benefits from quitting isn't it?

i came on here thinking i'd missed out on loads of chat but obviously you are all having a great weekend my period's almost done now but i'm still eating LOADS of chocolate...

did you find the lozenges fg?

Right big mission...think im going to be moving in the next couple of weeks and wont it be lovely to go to a house where ive never smoked and never will....awww lovely!!!!!
Live on a shitty council estate, quiet, but looks really bad, and I have my mad neighbours and thier mad sex habits that through the walls my dds would grow up hearing which I really dont want.
And ive been offered a tranfer to another council house thats wedged in between 5 brought houses and thats on my bus route to work/school. Couldnt get any better really.....so BIG STRESS. Going to ring and ask to view it...already been nosing through the windows....and the rents £8 quid cheaper so that would pay for the increase in bus fares........Moving...Moving...Moving !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Must say had 1 a fag would get me through this day better, and help me concentrate but didnt havent and will celebrate with...oh more baileys...very selfish post(who me! Never) Sorry..
Hope everyones staying off the fags. Especially Mink whos in the first few days of it.
Daft dp BTW had a few puffs of a mates....silly bugger.

Just thought would post on one of these giving up fags ones.

Am on about my 8th attempt to stop having stopped twice for more than a year. Used all the methods: hypnosis x 2, nic patches, nic nasal spray, nic microtabs, nic gum, cold turkey.

Any way went on the Alan Carr Easy Way clinic on Monday and have stopped and also I must say I have found it oddly easy. No real cravings at all. About once a day a sort of odd feeling but that is all. Hope it continues, it is the long term I am more worried about.

We are mostly serial quitters too. Its embarrasing actually how many some of us have started and stopped!

sorry to be a bit quiet lately, still off cigs & fine tho v loz dependent - yeah mink got some on ebay and local chemists ordered in a load but I really DO need to cut down/wean off.

Had no alcohol yesterday & found it really hard to get off to sleep with no booze swilling around my system!! Isn't that awful.

it's better than lying awake because of the nicotine in your system! apparently smokers on average take 1hr to get to sleep whilst non-smokers take only 15-20 mins...gotta say that i do notice the difference but that could just be the boys

Great news cc - a fresh start, and when you decorate everything will stay nice.
I have been fag free for eight weeks now and am feeling really positive. Spots have gone, am eating healthy and life is gooooood!!! I can't wait for the summer though, winter is so depressing.
