no,i'm smoking a lot less,every fag makes me feel rotten with guilt and yesterday i bought lots of lozengers and i actually can't wait to be free of the damn things

Yeah - i am happy again!! Massive attack of pmt the other night. Tears and tantrums, but at least i didn't smoke!

Private villa in turkey - lovely - room for any more? We are going to a caravan in coombe martin - i can't wait, but i think the smoking thing will be hard. In the past we sat on deckchairs getting wasted and chain smoking!

really ,really don't do it,that's exactly what i thought when i arrived in spain and now i have to pay the price,really not worth it,plus all the weight i put on when i gave up is still around my middriff and is now going to be double when i give up again,mrs blobby

I have only put on a couple of pounds since stopping, but seeing as i was massive anyway i have now joined weight watchers. One week in and it is not going too bad. But poor dh is having a lot of hassle at work and desperately wants to smoke and eat!! And drink!

good luck fee,i'm going to exersise like mad from monday too,lots of sit ups as the peanut m&ms i eat when i gave up have gone to my belly and i look pregnant,people even offer me their seat on the bus,lol

Hi folks, sorry for long absense.... have been rubbish lately, occasionally snatching dh's ciggies late at night and chuffing away. Today is my new stop date, have some 10k races coming up and don't wanna be a wheezy old chuffer any more.

am going away to yorkshire for a week tomorrow, & will check in with you strong willed folks next w'end to report a fag free week... xx

I gave up on 20 October 2001 after about 15 years of trying to quit. I eventually did it with hypnotism. If any of you fail, try it. It is so much easier than finding willpower you may not have. Have not had or felt like one since.

On the lozzies yet Why? Tell you what,I wouldnt advise drinking strong fresh coffee whilst having one in the gob-did that today and got the worst headache in the world. Has only gone with two mega strength paras!

because starting with a full day seems like a whole new start and a good way to stop. Go to bed horrid and faggy - wake up and fresh and lush and non faggy. I have my nasty gum at the ready and a full days non smoking planned to keep me amused. Have only had two today so not too bad anyway. Why mummy you know you can do it. Still looking at hypno myself but it seems like such a lot of money if it doesnt work?

LOL-Its a long time since I felt fresh and lush!! Ha!Ha!

drop i had my last fag at 1.45pm and i've had 2 lozengers since,i feel really grumpy but i have ovulation pains and i'm always grumpy,anyway i hope i can do it this time,i want to be able to say i haven't smoked 3000 fags!!!!
