For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

I won't report I mean. I probably won't read either. I shall just implode, quietly, whilst laughing at Franny's unrecognised jokes.

ello

Sorry for weepiness. I'm sure it's to be expected after everything that has happened over the last 2 weeks.

Boco, Gordon Brown?

I have to go and buy a new computer because this is on it's last legs in several different ways. No-one seems to sell them for $5 though. Which is all I can afford. Grrr

Off to airport to collect mother

tis me, UR, btw

Boco · 31/07/2008 18:25

No you're right though, we are a totally rashy wheezing bunch of malingerers - wasn't being chippy, just wish there was something to stand out for other than complaining about itching and coughing, which is what we seem to do most of.

But my rash is better! So that's good. I had it for over a year and still no idea what it's all about.

ahundredtimes · 31/07/2008 18:27

There were three crying phone calls - in one day. That stood out too.

As did your humour and grace. [creeps]

Boco · 31/07/2008 18:28

Hello UR, why you a superbunnY? Hope your mother's visit goes well.

We went to the seaside where Gordon Brown is staying, he's on our local news every day, in his shorts, relaxing and occasionally answering questions about gas prices.

Boco · 31/07/2008 18:31

You should have just stuck to the humour and grace to start with!

Now i'm going to have to go and find out who the three crying phone calls were from as I can't remember.

ahundredtimes · 31/07/2008 18:32

I remember

Guadalupe · 31/07/2008 18:33

Oh, I like you as superbunny, UR! You sound spritely and jazzy and fun. Oh dear, that sounds as if I mean you weren't before. I don't mean that.

100x - do read the threads and do summaries again. It is funny.

Guadalupe · 31/07/2008 18:34

socially inappropriate behaviour is always refreshing whether one is a receiver of complimentary comments or not.

ahundredtimes · 31/07/2008 18:36

No it's a disaster because there was some rather serious crying going on, and now Boco's going to look, and it looks like I was being frivolous about serious crying.

ahundredtimes · 31/07/2008 18:37

And she'll come back with that frowning look on, and write in short sharp sentences about it.

Guadalupe · 31/07/2008 18:38

I like it when Boco writes in short sharp sentences too.

but then I always liked very strict latin lessons.

Guadalupe · 31/07/2008 18:40

we are having boiled new potatoes with herbs and garlic and parma ham and lemon courgettes and salad for dinner. We have a mutant spring onion again.

Guadalupe · 31/07/2008 18:40

the stem is very long, I might try and do shotput.

ahundredtimes · 31/07/2008 18:40

Right, well I'm standing behind you then when she comes back. So you can feel the pleasure of her disappointment.

ahundredtimes · 31/07/2008 18:42

Give it to me, it can be my weapon.

Guadalupe · 31/07/2008 18:43

she will be in awe of my athlete prowess regarding spring vegetables and forget about your indiscretion

ahundredtimes · 31/07/2008 18:44

[hopeful]

Guadalupe · 31/07/2008 18:45

if I swing it well it just might reach the west country, it is ENORMOUS, as big as a tennis ball, no, bigger.

BBBee · 31/07/2008 18:45

I remeber your angst friends boco - all phoning and I remember the one who you took to the petting zoo or something adn she kept crying and you were so nice as she sounded rather tiresome.

I am grumpy. My children do not like baked potatoes so I went to the trouble of making them extra nice with fried bacon bits and homemade coleslaw and all kinds of lovley ness.

They still don't like them.

DP came home and is not hungry.

I had to eat loads of coleslaw to justify the half hour it took to make it.

I have stomach ache.

I found some secret three jaffa cakes and ate them all in seccret.

I have also forgotten how to msnet.

I invented a new thing of cherry jam on a digestive biscuit - i might send it in to delia's cheats.

My wonderful best friend was very sweet when I was low after birth of DD. I had PND and he told me that it was because I was so wonderful and interesting and complex and that all the best people get depressed and he did not think he could be friends with someone who didn;t suffer from depression.

He is wonderful.
