For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg herehere and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TigerFeet · 17/07/2008 21:18

how did your twinges go with ds fran?

FrannyandZooey · 17/07/2008 21:20

erm I think they started off like this and I just didn't know whether it was anything or not
then they got quite ouchy and I rang my mother and my sister and said "do you think I am in OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH OUUUUUUUUCH labour?"
and they said "not sure"

then I went for a lie down and my waters broke
and then OMG it hurt A REAL LOT

FrayedKnot · 17/07/2008 21:20

Do you get period pain, Franny? If so are they somewhere on that scale?

I could have typed through my contractions until about 5 hous before DS was born. They were like period pains.

pinkspottywellies · 17/07/2008 21:21

FrannyandZooey · 17/07/2008 21:27

we are absolutely committed life long FULL TIME VEGGERS

pinkspottywellies · 17/07/2008 21:27

DD did a poo on the toilet today

She said 'poo' so I went to change her and she hadn't done one but said she wanted to, so she went on the toilet. I think she told me twice yesterday while she was weeing but not soon enough to let her do it on the loo.

FrayedKnot · 17/07/2008 21:55

If you don;t post at least once every 5 minutes WE WILL WORRY

No sneaking off for a nectarine or something without telling us

pinkspottywellies · 17/07/2008 21:56

Franny, it's been half an hour Where are you????

FrannyandZooey · 17/07/2008 22:01

ok have been phoning people
when I walk around twinges are every couple of minutes
had VERY nasty moment when phoned delivery suite and they said "oh our community team are busy with a premature birth and so you will need to come in"
then serious discussion in background - midwife says "can you hear that doctor trying to get you to come in?"
anyway they have rustled up someone for me and her name is Jenny and SHE HAS THE GAS AND AIR IN HER CAR
she isn't going to come out yet, I am fine and can talk etc through the twinges
but I really really really think Thunderbirds are Go ladies

oooh flipping HECK that was a bigger one

zippitippitoes · 17/07/2008 22:02

supe4r have fun

pinkspottywellies · 17/07/2008 22:03

OH MY GOD FRANNY

I need to go to bed but I want to stay up

No I can't sit on the laptop all night waiting for my hairy-arsed-trucker-man friend to give birth.

Right I'll check in again in the morning.

Good luck fruity one xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
