For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg herehere and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Quinoa at kindergarten, that's very good. DS loves it. He calls it keemwah.

Hi Guad. What's me?

DD got out of her cot this morning I heard a huge thud which I thought was her bead frame hitting the floor so I wandered in and she was on the floor in a heap She cried for longer than I've ever heard her cry. I wished I was still breastfeeding.

Ooh avocado is lovely. Just scoop it out of the shell and eat it! Or in a bacon sandwich with tomato - although I don't eat bacon much really

FrannyandZooey · 17/07/2008 18:37

oh pink poor dd
and poor you, I bet you were shaken up

FrannyandZooey · 17/07/2008 18:37

I mean by the cot fall not by the bacon sandwich btw

UnderRated · 17/07/2008 18:45

I dunno, a bacon sandwich can be pretty scary

mmmmmmmmmm with sunblush tomatoes & rocket & mozzerella.

Am feeling glum
went to the school ds will be going to in Jan to watch a little production a friend's little one was in.
It was bad
on every front, hap hazard costumes, dire music, awfully unimaginative & badly organised.None of the children 5-8 seemed to know what they were supposed to be doing.

ds's nursery plays/concerts are always so beautiful & so much effort goes into them.
I came away very downhearted & wondering how long I will last seeing ds there.

dh phoned from a call box
& expected sympathy for being tired after his long journey & he has managed to forget his wallet

LullyOfShallot · 17/07/2008 18:51

Oh poor dd Pink

& yes his ex is 65
It's all very complicated messy stuff
I just hate that this has gone on forever .

dh was with a lovely girl for years
she is now a very good friend
she left dh after 7 years 'to find herself' but quickly found someone else.
dh attempted suicide....ex was then his best friends mother & came to the rescue..looking after him, listening, molly coddling him.
One thing led to another
It turns out that she had been infatuated with him for years.

God does any of that make sense
it's all so hideous

I blame his mother
it's easier

Guadalupe · 17/07/2008 19:15

DD's fine thanks everyone. Do you mean I'm being mysterious avi or someone else?

LullyOfShallot · 17/07/2008 19:26

?

Guadalupe · 17/07/2008 19:43

it was 100's title, which is quite surprising given the intimate nature of it. I don't think we were actually expecting it to be the title and then there it was.

It does conjur up a strange image though doesn't it?
