For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg herehere and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

and i have done something to my knee of course i was trying to improve fitness before my holidays ...darn

well franny im sure something will happen today

berolina · 17/07/2008 08:22

oh zippi I've just caught up. Poor you, and rotten that nobody stopped to help. - On a less serious but similar note, ds1 held open the gate of the petting zoo at the zoo yesterday for about 8 people, most of them adults, and one woman deigned to say thank you . None of them nodded or smiled either. I shouted after them that they might have said thank you and told ds1 loudly how rude they were The more I move about in the city with dses, the more I notice some people's incredible self-centredness. There are always nice ones, though, too, who smile at dses and make room on the bus.

I hear you avi

LullyOfShallot · 17/07/2008 09:44

I forgot to say how beautiful everyone's photos were

( I still want to see avi's)

Amazingly although I live with a photographer I havn't a single pregnant photo of myself nekkid or clothed
I hated having my photo taken until ds was born.

Tatties · 17/07/2008 09:52

'playing you up' We had a similar situation - had a good start but things just weren't quite right, then other things became afoot... so decided it was better to take him out and try again in the autumn when things are (hopefully) more settled.

(((Franny)))

FrannyandZooey · 17/07/2008 09:58

sorry that was embarrassingly sulky post of mine first thing

avi I am sorry to hear that
the phrases people use are very telling aren't they
I have noticed when I am cross / tired the language I use to describe ds's behaviour to eg dp is totally different and not really appropriate - always apportioning blame etc

well am 40+13
this is mad
avi to answer your thing about post mature yesterday - nobody is saying that (yet) - it is just I know when I ovulated and it IS post mature now
am going for monitoring at the hospital tomorrow
good lord above
I can't cope with much more up and down

lots of fruit, as usual

zip hope your face and knee are not too sore

OsmosisBanana · 17/07/2008 09:59

People can be helpful. I had too many people rush to my rescue in Bath. Doesn't do to tell them to go away.

Hope the mess isn't to horrific Zipper

Tatties · 17/07/2008 10:10

Did you have reflexology yesterday Fra? Was it nice? (Have you already said?)

FrannyandZooey · 17/07/2008 10:16

Tatties yes it was v relaxing and nice indeed
I would like to have it again if it wasn't for the fact that it cose FORTY POUND and I still haven't had a baby yet

I had a big poo though, perhaps she got muddled up and slipped down to my intestines when she was trying to do my uterus

Tatties · 17/07/2008 10:22

Ouch at £40. I've always wanted to have reflexology
