For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg herehere and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

still up

Tatties · 16/07/2008 23:53

It is nearly midnight. How on earth did that happen?

Avi we have done all we can now and just have to wait I really would quite like things to move along now, the frustrating thing is that the timescale of it is more or less beyond our control...

Guadalupe · 17/07/2008 00:00

he keeps getting out of the cot. It is beyond a joke. I will go to bed now and shut the door and hope he goes to sleep.

Tomorrow we will put some kind of stairgate on the door.

UnderRated · 17/07/2008 00:01

Bloody hell, zippi. Falling is horrible - it leaves you really shaken, even if you aren't physically hurt. Why did no-one stop and ask if you needed help? Can you get your teeth checked?

DS is cross about going to bed - we came to an agreement that he could take a couple of trains to bed, so he carefully selected the ones he wanted and has now thrown them out of his room in a huge rage, saying, "I don't want these" Admittedly, it is early but he was tired all afternoon and was lying on the floor pretending to sleep. Now he's yelling, "I want my TRAINS" Aargh. Wine and Nirvana sounds good. I have neither

I'd be concerned about Butlins too.

UnderRated · 17/07/2008 00:02

Crikey, guad, he's very determined, isn't he. Perhaps he'll sleep in tomorrow?

Bbbee · 17/07/2008 00:09

crikey - no news?

good luck franny

(boco or carrot can you text me if there is news - am all over the cocka shop at the mo')
