For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg herehere and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I'm really not sure what I would have done UR. Probably similar to you and would have felt about it afterwards as well.

If it were me and someone mentioned it I would probably feel mortified and then very thankful. I think.

Hello Franny

IdrisTheDragon · 16/07/2008 18:31

TooT is that you or an imposter again?

LullyOfShallot · 16/07/2008 18:33

hello lovely one

FrannyandZooey · 16/07/2008 18:34

UR I had this situation except I didn't know the person, I was just walking behind her in the park - she had beautiful dress on and big patch of blood on the back
I also said nothing and felt dreadful afterwards - but she was with a man and they were canoodling a lot and she was an older woman and I don't know - I just couldn't, anyway
I thought it through afterwards and thought, well, if nobody told you, at least you could go home and convince yourself that no-one else saw
I think if you are in the middle of a situation where you couldn't easily cover it up, maybe it is best that you didn't know at the time
you can have the embarrassment in private later by yourself instead of very publicly
I would mention it if I could do so discreetly but otherwise am not sure
and it makes me CROSS that it is such a taboo and embarrassing thing to happen

LullyOfShallot · 16/07/2008 18:35

UR....I think I probably would have whispered something actually,I would be so mortified if that happened to me.In fact I have nigntmares about it....and teeth falling out and being naked walking down a street and and and.....

pinkspottywellies · 16/07/2008 18:52

All this cervix/cm/effacing/rummaging is so alien to me. The first person who looked at my fanjo when I was pg - from about 3 feet away - said 'I can see your baby's head'.

Very exciting Franny!!!!!!!!!

Bero I will add you as a mumsnet mate - I don't think I'm on yours though

FK - I know I already have some veggers on FB but not sure whether to de-list you all!!

OsmosisBanana · 16/07/2008 18:56

If it were me (as your DD) I would not want to be told. I know this bcuz it happened once. Shudder.

Bcuz. see another one. I'm getting the hang of it.

Is WUU2 - woot do you think TF?

My friend's younger sister says it instead of whoop.

Guadalupe · 16/07/2008 19:05

what are you up to, I would have thought?

UnderRated · 16/07/2008 19:06

Ok, I am glad you don't all think I was terrible not to say something. It's such a tricky thing to deal with. I also have nightmares about this happening to me, Lully. If it had been more private, I might have whispered something...

TooTicky · 16/07/2008 19:07

Ooh, get MrsC, Txt Qun. Or something.

I have been through my teas and although I have Protect, Harmonise, Rise & Shine and Revitalise, I do not appear to have one called De-stress You Stupid Bloody Bitch.
Somebody should invent it.
