For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I would like a aga too, everyone I know that has one is a cosy sort of person.

I think I would also hate them if I had to burn my tampons as a teenager though.

IdrisTheDragon · 13/07/2008 20:46

I can understand why you hate agas Boco.

LullyOfShallot · 13/07/2008 20:47

Franny
I wish ds were awake to see that

He is exhausted from walking miles, country fete, racing around on the beach, donkey rides & kite flying.

I have eaten so many peas that I may explode
somebody take them away.

IdrisTheDragon · 13/07/2008 20:47

Not sure if we are cosy, but DH made some nice rock buns in it earlier on.

Guadalupe · 13/07/2008 20:48

see! That whole sentence is cosy

ahundredtimes · 13/07/2008 20:49

ooooh that's one of my teenage traumas too Boco. With a rayburn in Scotland, only it wasn't tampons but sanitary towels because my mother said if you were a virgin you couldn't use tampons.

This one isn't wood burning thank god, that one was.

OB hopefully you won't have lost the money though? I think Avi is going to sort it for you. I am sure of it actually.

Boco · 13/07/2008 20:49

Not sure that 100x is cosy with such powerful eyebrows.

IdrisTheDragon · 13/07/2008 20:50
Guadalupe · 13/07/2008 20:50

perhaps 100 can fire the aga with the power of eyebrow alone

Boco · 13/07/2008 20:50

Yes, this trauma began with sanitary towels too.

Guadalupe · 13/07/2008 20:51

I think it is cosy there too, books and piles and dogs and pavlovas

ahundredtimes · 13/07/2008 20:51

I am cosy until such time as you are sarcastic or I think you are, or if you refuse to go out for the day.

Then I am steely and the Aga loses heat very quickly.

Yes, I think it's quite cosy here. Though that might just be a polite word for messy. And actually I am quite cosy and friendly looking in RL. Annoyingly so actually. I have bosoms.

I wish I was taller and sharper and more athletic looking. That'd be good.

Oh Boco. Sanitary towels much worse. The whole thing degrading. And all those brothers of mine, and my father frowning and my mother looking out the window and ignoring and saying 'It's very dull here.'

Hello

Am back from my very wet hols in dorset. I have a kilimanjaro of washing to do - it is all over the litchen in piles, looking accusingly and tiringly at me.

Aga story/ies sound horrific - how do you burn sanpro in an aga? Actually, scrap that, I don't think I really want to know.

I mean Kitchen, sorry!

Guadalupe · 13/07/2008 20:56

I think everyone has a sanitary towel trauma of some kind don't they? I could never ever post mine.

IdrisTheDragon · 13/07/2008 20:56

No one burns anything in our aga (apart from DH when cooking biscuits sometimes).

Guadalupe · 13/07/2008 20:57

I am bored.

Top gear is being watched.

It is book group tomorrow and I have only read three pages. Again.
