For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Yes, we went for LK no. 2. (LK = Lovely Kindergarten).

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 21:29

Was that the one where the lady said 'I like him'

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 21:30

In the wrong context that could sound quite sinister.

berolina · 12/07/2008 21:31

Yes - ikwym about 'I like him', but the way she said it was just lovely

pinkspottywellies · 12/07/2008 21:31

Gosh OB, do tell I didn't even say it was news as such just that I have something to talk about.

pinkspottywellies · 12/07/2008 21:33

Really pleased you've decided Bero. No 2 sounded like the right one FWIW.

I'm saying nothing Franny.

But I do feel less bursty now. Sorry for causing trouble

All in good time my dearies.

Bbbee · 12/07/2008 21:37

I know pink's secret - she has had a bacon sandwich and is planning another.

I told you I was an oracle.

I can tell by your posts pinky babe.

pinkspottywellies · 12/07/2008 21:38

Cool. I've got demand 5 working. Off to watch the birth programme.

berolina · 12/07/2008 21:39

whenever we're you're ready, pink

I have a 'bursty' thing too, with which I am bursting less since I burst to a couple of you off-thread - in my defence, I haven't posted it on here because I'm afraid of being laughed at - I laughed at myself when I first had the thought that led to the thing. I will now work up to being brave and spilling.

LullyOfShallot · 12/07/2008 21:39

He does Pink
In fact he has asked for a baby sister called Molly for his birthday....but sadly that is something I cannot give him.

UnderRated · 12/07/2008 21:41

I like LullyofShallot, don't change

OB, definietly gentle but firm reminders of exactly what she owes.

I went for a run and messed around with the weights for a couple of mins

Glad you have something exciting to tell us one day, pink

UnderRated · 12/07/2008 21:44

And Bero, what is your thing? Why do you all have secrets?

pinkspottywellies · 12/07/2008 21:46

UR I didn't way it was exciting!

Bero, tell. You're ready and it will take the pressure off me.

Guadalupe · 12/07/2008 21:46

You have all been gassing! Pink, when are you goinh to tell us?

I am exhausted. We have been to dh's work family day at thr showground, something to do with winning a contract. I was dreading it but it was quite a laugh in the end. There was a whole fair with dodgums and waltzers and stuff, clowns, face painting, drawing competitions, circus skills lessons and odd little bits like a cage with a fake flame and a lion above it that all the children ran in and out of.

Then there was a hogroast/barbeque with quite an array of salads and pimms and a free bar and strawberries and cream and trifles and a popcorn stall and candy floss. I have eaten quite a lot really. I fancy an apple, and an orange, and a peach. I will have a fruity half hour.

Guadalupe · 12/07/2008 21:47

I quite liked Finding Nemo, it was a bit annoying in parts, the seagulls for eg but it was enjoyable. I really liked Atonement and I also quite like war films.

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 21:48

spill. c'mon. It's Saturday. Quite what diff that makes I don't know...

Is TF around? I want to talk about the cricket but think she is the only sane interested one.

pinkspottywellies · 12/07/2008 21:48

Ooh Guad it sounds marvellous! What a nice day.

And I'll refer you to my earlier post - all in good time my dearies

UnderRated · 12/07/2008 21:57

What a lovely day, Guad

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 21:59

are you actually 27 PSW? You don't sound 27. I'm not saying in what way.

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 21:59

another btw

TooTicky · 12/07/2008 22:01

Aaaargh, running in before utterly chaotic late bedtime for dcs but no time to talk properly.
I can't watch sad things, or read them.
Pink, you are a fiend.

Guadalupe · 12/07/2008 22:02

it was lovely but my feet ache, also it was quite hard to keep ds2 away from the rides, he kept wanting to climb on when he saw the others.

There was also a an inflatable lazerzone thing. I can't imagine why people want to go in there, well, ds1 was in there for ages but it looks awful. You walk into a black tunnel, must be like going in a balloon.

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 22:02

So she's a memeber of a sex cult then TooT? What do you know? Let me in.

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 22:04

That sounds an ace day Guad. I had thought about going to the Air Tattoo but decided too un 10/10 couldn't get tickets

pinkspottywellies · 12/07/2008 22:06

No OB. I was 27 6 weeks ago. I'm now 28
