For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

English Patient and Dances eith Wolves make me cry so much the salt paralyses my face. Or something. I have decided that is a likely effect as I can't explain the strange paralysis any other way.

I was sat there on the floor hugging a cushion weeping copiously and saying 'it's FINE. I WANT to watch it. No, DON't turn it off.'

OB you know you just to be upfront so I won't say anything else. But I also liked chagrined!!

pinkspottywellies · 12/07/2008 20:57

I'm bursting with something I want to talk about but I can't yet.

Anyway. I'm not going to say anything more about it but I'm hoping that will stop me bursting.

As you were.

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 20:57

Yeah. I know what to do. I just wanted to bitch about it.

LullyOfShallot · 12/07/2008 20:58

pinkspottywellies · 12/07/2008 21:08

Thanks Franny. Sorry others. I can't. But just had to stop myself from bursting.

OB not Macdonalds - Nestle. Is that bad?

Lully the other one is pg! I thought you might have something to tell us!! Was coincidence too - doesn't ds call you mama?

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 21:10

Hollyoaks would have been the worst.

berolina · 12/07/2008 21:11

I can't watch/read anything that might be remotely upsetting. While at my parents' I saw the trailer for that Criminal Justice thing and it bothered me ludicrously. It's been like this since children really. In my teens I read One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich without a sniffle.

Oh UR Last thing you need. What a charmer your ex sounds

OB, grr on your behalf. Remind her Gently but Firmly. And no, YANBU It really is not good to not pay you for so long, and to be so unaware of what they owed? (Mind you, I can talk - Franny, I have only just realised that I never refunded you postage when you sent me those tights. Sorry sorry sorry . Let me know how much).

Painting with ds1, making a leaving card for his kindergarten teachers - the rather awkward goodbye will be at their summer party tomorrow. Botanic garden in the afternoon.

We have another almost-red tomato on the balcony.

Nectarine, cucumber, OJ, sesame seed rolls, tomato, basil, grilled yellow pepper/aubergine/tomato on homemade pizza. 6ish. Not great. But am having redcurrants with sugar and yogurt later.

FrannyandZooey · 12/07/2008 21:18

Bero no problem - did they turn out to be useful after your long wait? I am looking forward to wearing mine again this winter

pink just tell us is it something NICE? I do hope so

berolina · 12/07/2008 21:21

Thank you Franny Oh they were definitely useful - we've had lots of chilly spells (alternating with 30° heat ).

pink, I x post before. Am agog too.

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 21:24

Hey bero, seems a long time since we were both online at the same time. You ok? Made a LK decision (pretends to know what I'm talking about..)

OsmosisBanana · 12/07/2008 21:27

I've decided I KNOW what Pink's news is. I'm clutching a crystal a hippy friend gave me that Isla keeps stealing from beside my bed and I am suddenly insightful
